Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI only wish the room had a microwave!
I really liked the fact that the floors were heated and that the bed was very big!

United StatesThe policies and deals are too complicated. Should be streamlined. The check-in takes too long. You can wait 10-15 minutes to get into an elevator. The staff is uneven: from outstanding in some cases to poorly trained in other cases. The food at Tapas is very mediocre. No pharmacy or basic medicine at convenience store. Too bad if you get a cold or a flu…Most places to eat and coffee etc. open at 10 only.
The location, the rooms are outstanding. Excellent restaurant at Overlap.

FranceThe staff education is a clear problem not capable to digest transaction, being enough rude. Very poor welcoming in arrival, so even our taxi driver was upset with this doorman’s attitude. I have never seen one single staff greeting properly. Lounge floor does not provide breakfast service but clients should use the common restaurant in the GF, which was with heavy traffic. We asked help to get the seat a little bit faster to catch up international flight but there was no sense of empathy nor problem solving gesture, estimating time.
Marvellous view, high quality of room & facilities. Correct lounge evening services.

United StatesThe exterior of the hotel building looked rusty and stained. There were some issues with the shower faucets in the Water House.
Access to the outdoor pool and the Water House was great! Also, the room was spacious and clean.

AustraliaI know it is pretty standard in Korea but I never get used to having to pay extra money for pool access. Admittedly not all pools at Ananti require payment, but it was $50 to access the best adult pool.
great location, great staff, amazing ocean views from room. Easy walk to Haedong Yonggungsa.

AustraliaKeep in mind that you have to pay for every pool in this hotel! And the restaurants are a bit pricey!
The bus station to the hotel is about a 6-8 minute uphill walk! It’s also 1 hour away from the city, the location is beachside and beautiful

KenyaCouple of hidden costs; if there was a way for the hotel to create a schematic showing what is and is not included in each package, it would greatly enhance the stay. Also a bit disappointing that using the pool has a whole separate package.
Rooms are top notch, facilities exceptional, and the customer service is the best I have ever had. The quickness to respond to queries, the attention paid to guests at any point in time, the clear cut communication (even with the language barrier), the approachability and friendliness. . . .all in all, the staff were the best part of my stay at the Ananti Hilton. And the food was superb as well. This place is the real deal.

FranceThe fact that the pool is not accessible all the time (they have a 10 minute break every hour plus 1 hour break at lunch when nobody is allowed inside the pool!) There is little place to sit and chill in the facility. Many children so not couple friendly. The staff does not speak English. Overall very expensive food and drinks.
The hotel decoration is amazing and the room is very comfortable. The sea view is great.

Hong KongThough I booked ocean view rooms, the construction and noise were not pleasant to enjoy the stay and the floors a bit lower than I expected. I think the booking.com should have notified me earlier of the limit of floor per type of rooms I book. they say can’t go beyond certain floors due to my type of booking.
Over facilities such as location, promendade and the connected malls were convenient and wonderful and staff were kind and caring.

GermanyI selected the same room option that I chose last summer. Although it is still as of now not the peak season, they assigned me a room on the 3rd floor, unlike on the 7th floor last summer. It was a big disappointment. Many rooms were empty on the upper floor. How could you assign a room on the lowest floor so close to the construction area and it is loud all day long??? How can one relax to look at the ocean view???

Hong Kongdue to the construction, we got noise and less fine view from the room. didn’t know my type of room has limitations in floors - only 2nd and 3rd floor. wish ti get informed in advance and it seems less flexibility in assigning rooms even in weekdays, which means less guests.. need more guest-friendly flexibility in their services!
clean and convenient.

AustraliaThe facilities were nice but honestly very poorly laid out. Some areas where very large and ritzy but lacking soul or thoughtful planning. It was difficult to get around the resort and difficult to find amenities. You also had to pay additional charge to use one of the pools. the facilities where also not very well maintained and there was a sense of neglect throughout the resort...
The view from the pool is beautiful and there are cute cafes nearby. The room was spacious and very glamorous

CanadaFood choices were limited. The main issue was the room was not clean. We found a dead fly in the room with a clogged sink that we just ended up using the 1 when the room came with 2. The tub was dirty so we ended up not using that as well….in addition the hotel was far away from the city itself if you wanted to explore Busan other than the “resort” hotel, it would’ve been 1-2 hour ride.
The view from the room was amazing but that’s about it

AustraliaLocation is too far away from Busan so if you are planning on exploring the city, this is the wrong place to stay. Not many of the staff at the hotel and restaurants in the cove spoke English. You have to pay for 2/3 of the pools and 43,000 for the sauna which is a joke. The restaurants are so expensive and based on the reviews, don’t sound like good value.

SingaporeLocation was far away from the main busan area. Can only get there from busan station via taxi. Hotel did not have aircon during period of stay but failed to inform on booking website. Counter staff did not inform either and I only realised after I entered the room. Staff were unable to provide fan as well on first night and they only did so on the second night. In the hotel’s description on booking.com, it is supposed to have air-conditioning. Don’t think that was acceptable tbh. Toilet bowl clogged after the very first use and water started overflowing from the toilet bowl. After staff came to fix it, they only could use towels to wipe it dry, which was very odd from a hygiene point of view. I asked whether he could use water to rinse the floor but he said he couldn’t. Thankfully the water that overflowed was clear but that’s besides the point. Hardly used the bathroom afterwards. Not easy for English-speaking travellers to communicate with staff. Language barrier is a real challenge. Gym is incredibly dark in the evening. Lighting should be improved.
Place, including the room, was spacious and luxurious. Facilities were clean and modern.
