great great hostel team, everyone is soooo lovely and friendly and trying to make the best stay possible for you; nice breakfast, amazing cooking class and dinner! also good to connect with others. i‘ve had an amazing daytrip to sigiriya with the best tuktuk guide ever - totally recommend!

Good location near the city center, not too close to the train station. Breakfast was nice, and the place was clean with comfy beds. Friendly staff. Only downside — no water dispenser and they charge for bottled water

Great value for money, staff were so friendly and helpful with organising activities and day tours! Dinner was great and cooking class was really interesting! Nice to have a pool and communal area was nice and sociable. Walking distance to centre of kandy which was also great!

Slightly separated from the town, but tie quieter and you can easily walk or call a tuktuk

Private room was good but very simple. AC worked very well, wifi worked very well in my room. The lady who works at the reception is so nice and warm hearted and helpful. The dinner served was local and tasted good!

the room facilities are a bit old and the room must be cleaner . but generally it was a good hostel . there is a big dog there ,named dj.For I am suffering from animal phobia it was bothering that there is a huge dog every where .

The bed I had in the female dorm was pretty humid, so I had to put an extra cover on it not to feel it. Then it was ok! Walls aren't soundproofed but it’s alright if you have earplugs.

A little out of the city center, so the area is pretty quiet. Spent 4 nights in the female dorms. Bed was comfortable. Bedsheets seemed clean. Good AC. Bathrooms are quite clean. Cooking classes were very fun and interesting to learn about the culture and the ties between food and the beliefs regarding the Ayurveda traditionnal medicine. Food for dinner is delicious and generous. Breakfast is good as well. Very nice view from terrasse from which you can admire the sunset. Good wifi. It’s possible to ask for laundry for 1500 roupies. I didn't use the pool but others travelers told me it was great. Very nice and available staff, and I met a lot of different traverlers that were so nice and interesting to talk with. A true Backpackers Hostel !

There werent a lot of showers. However I stayed here 3 nights and never had to wait!

The location was perfect. Not in the crazy centre but still quite central and its near the lake which makes it a beautiful walk into town. The staff is literally amazing. Super helpful and its such a good deal staying here. Breakfast and dinner included and the hostel itself isnt big which makes it easy to connect with other travellers. Super nice vibes. Would very much recommend.

Flooring was ripped, bed sheets looked a little tired.

Private room with good aircon. Convenient location. Reasonable tours offered around the city. Cooking demonstrations in the evening were informative. Nice to have a pool. Price was very good value as it included breakfast and evening meal. Very friendly people who gave you some good advice.

Only negative is the rooms did have a slight damp smell if they were not one of the balcony rooms that had a door that could open for fresh air

The staff are incredibly welcoming and are willing to help with any request big or small, guaranteed you were always greeted with a smile! The property is as listed on the website and includes all extras, including the perks of breakfast, lunch and cooking classes. They always made everyone feel at home and the dinners every night were divine. The hostel is only a short walk into town and is in a quiet area of Kandy. Highly recommend booking an extra day to spend by the pool! Thank you so much for a beautiful few days in Kandy ☺️

The free cooking class and free dinner are just amazing for meeting people. The staff is super nice and will help you with everything. I do recommend doing one of there tours. If you book on their website you’ll get a 20% discount.

I liked everything. Since l had come with some intentions, l would have not changed your hostel for anything else. It was very kind of you to give a very good young lad with such a pleasant helpful attitude with so much patience to take me around. I liked both the lads and that cleaning lady who were very kind to me.

I had only dinner. It was very good. That friendly, helpful pleasant attitude of the receptionist put me at ease because of that little problem l had. I liked that friendly, helpful, patient young lad who took me around Kandy. How l wish l had some more days so that l could be more relaxed and see some more places. The room was very very comfortable, nice and warm. Thanks ❤🌹a lot.
