We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomMosquitos were a bit of an irritation for a couple of hours early evening, but that isn't the hotels fault. It is a little way out of the main town, but the advantage is that is was peaceful.
The staff and manager were friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size, clean and fresh. We ate at the hotel. The food was good quality and freshly cooked.

Clean spacious room, great value for the cost. Warm welcome by Sudath who provided excellent customer service making us feel right at home. We appreciated the mosquito netting, comfortable bed and mini fridge. Excellent breakfast was cooked freshly on site and Sudath brought us coffee to the room first thing in the morning.

No Wi-Fi in room or upstairs area, Had to go to main lobby. No facility for boiling water. Charged extra for pots of tea 600 rupees per pot. Overall the hotel did not meet our expectations .
Close to main street with local food choices. Outside areas for sitting. Fridge in room for keeping the beer cold. . Semi at reception was very helpful and organised for pots of real leaf tea,

Room was a nice size with a sofa in to relax. Shower was powerful and clean. Aircon was great. The best thing about the place however is the hotel manager who goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one. He helped me find the location of my private bus to Colombo and made sure it was running before my setting off on my journey. The hotel has specific tuk tuk drivers they use to keep with there excellent standards. Food portions were large and food tasty. Wi-Fi worked in room.

NetherlandsMy room was next to the kitchen and an ill-defined machine that (re-)started every 15 minutes (luckily I had ear plugs). Opening the curtains would expose me to the garbage of the kitchen. I had ordered a chicken sandwich but it contained hard parts (crushed bones??).
The staff was very friendly! Also with the help of the staff it was very easy to rent a bicycle.
