Great value stay, close to the beach. Spotlessly clean and with the bonus of kettle, tea and coffee in the room and a fridge on the verandah. Lovely host who even organised for our washing to be done at a very reasonable price.

The wifi wasn't great, but after travelling in Sri Lanka for 1,5 month we're used to it;)

Basically everything! First of all the location is great. Really close to the beach and nice and quiet. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom as well. Airconditioning works really good and also is quiet. Super friendly staff. Fast communication and we we received a very welcome cold beverage upon arrival. Definitely recommended!

Nothing, all was perfect !

Cozy bungalow with big terrace and beautiful views. Good mattress. Nicely decorated. A big bottle of water and a hot water kettle plus tea was provided. Good wifi. We were the only guests and enjoyed peace and tranquility. 2 minutes to the beach.

The location is great, so close to the beach. They have a fridge outside every two rooms great for backpackers. The room is big and comfy.and includes a complimentary bottle of water. Was Greeted with tea at arrival

Towels and bed were not comfortable. It's is very close to the beach, but I don't recommend the Nilaveli beach itself. We ended up taking a tuk-tuk each morning to another beach in Uppuveli.

Kind host, close to beach (and coral island! Amazing snorkelling location). Wonderful breakfast, water kettle available. Great bed (matress) too. Honestly nothing to complain Enjoyed our stay!

The owner is working so sometimes you may not see him but he is still available by messages and really friendly. He also have good contacts for pigeon island and scooter.

Slightly more hands-off than other hosts we stayed with, but very approachable and helpful when asked.

Really good location close to the beach. Sri Lankan style breakfast was tasty and good value. AC machine worked well. Good to have an area to relax on the veranda separate from the bedroom. Close to KKR restaurant, which prepares delicious meals.

We stayed in the wonderful village of Nilavelli, with the owner, Mr. Suresh. Everything was wonderful, the ocean is close. Mr. Suresh is very attentive, kind, solved all our questions: cooked dinner, ordered a tuk-tuk and a transfer. It was a very cool trip! A place where you want to return.

Quiet and great location in Nilaveli, near the beach and a couple of good restaurants. The host and his family were very kind and helped us to arrange a scooter, snorkelling kits, breakfast, and other tips. Big, comfy, fresh and clean room. The little garden and terrace was perfect to chill out. We had a lovely time!

The place has an excellent location to the beach. Amazing veranda where we had breakfast. Breakfast was ordered from them, it was very convenient. Everything is clean, the room is spacious, there is air conditioning. There is tea and coffee for free, Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a parking place for a car. Hammock and beautiful yard! We highly recommend this accommodation. Very convenient and comfortable. They also provided us with a laundry service, which we needed very much. Thanks to this family for a great place and a wonderful holiday

Due to the situation most places in Nilaveli are closed. We can recommend a restaurant around the corner next to theepans home!

Lovely stay. Very kind and nice host! Everything was very clean. Located 2 min to the beach. He organized the pigeon island trip and tuk tuks for us. Great breakfast:)

Not the fault of the guesthouse at all but there wasn't much happening in the area due to the current economic situation, most restaurants and hotels were closed in Nilaveli

wonderful accommodating host, offered me a cold drink on arrival and also drive me to trincomalee bus station very early in the morning. Located only 3 minutes from the beach walking, the room is spacious, has a good ceiling fan and also A/C. room was very clean and had a good lock and felt secure. I would recommend the breakfast as well
