UruguayMaybe the clean ! It was so clean when I arrived! But I think is an issue in Sri Lanka that they don’t clean with frequency, the bathroom, I only stayed some days but I think It’s better if in Sri Lanka they clean the toilets sometimes.
I really like all the entire experience in the place ! the place it’s so so beautiful, only 10 minutes or 5 walking to the beach! The most relevante and nice point is the family! The mother and the daughter are so so nice and cute ! They prepare for you everyday what you want and so quickly ! They put a lot of love in what they do! And the food is really delicious ! I think they must put a restaurant ! One of the best food that I try in Sri Lanka! I took cooking classes with the daughter ! It was an amazing experience ! I was so so so happy! I love Sri Lanka pancakes ! The mother surprised me one day with a beautiful flower another day with an egg hopper! It was so difficult to leave the place ! They have love in theirs faces ! I wanna to come back to Mirissa soon and definitely to these place !

We loved our stay here- one of the biggest rooms we've had during our time in Sri Lanka. Excellent location very close to the beach and many shops and restaurants, cafes. The staff were friendly and there was a fridge in the room. We really enjoyed the private balcony too in the evenings.

United KingdomPolelanka is undoubtedly the best accommodation in the lower price range that I experienced during my six months in Sri Lanka. The property is new, with everything being immaculately clean and modern. It enjoys a central location yet is tucked away down a quiet lane, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere both during the day and night. The room includes a kettle and a mini-fridge, which was a great bonus. With only two rooms in this guest house, the service feels remarkably personal. I came across other reviews mentioning that the rooms can get warm during the day; however, it’s clear that they have responded to this feedback, as both rooms were fitted with brand new air conditioning units just before my arrival. Additionally, there is a washing machine available for guests to use at no cost. The owners are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always on hand to assist with any requests. There is a full food menu and room service, which proved incredibly convenient as I often worked from my room. The food was both delicious and reasonably priced. This establishment is truly a hidden gem. I stayed for nearly three weeks and cherished every moment. I highly recommend it! Thanks Vinoli and your Mum for everything!

The staff were also the sweetest and most accommodating hosts ever, they let us do our washing and served incredible food with so many options on the menu. Do not hesitate to book this place one bit. It was also in a great location too!

We had a great 3 night stay at this property, arrived a little early and we’re welcomed in by a lovely family to sit and have a drink and play some cards whilst they prepared the room. The location is perfect being a 5-10 min walk to everything we wanted to do in Mirissa with many restaurants and Mirissa beach very nearby. There’s also a great breakfast spot right at the end of the drive. We were able to do washing at no additional cost also which was a great amenity. The room was basic but had everything we needed at a very reasonable price. We were out most of the days so just needed somewhere comfortable to stay that was clean, and had air conditioning and this ticked all the boxes. The room was nice and fairly modern.

SerbiaIt is too hot in the room during the day and during the night (AC helps but does not solve the excessive heat problem) also bathroom is like a sauna all day long and its hard to go in there, and also in the bathroom the shower space is right in front of the toilet- so with excessive Mirissa sand you are sandy all day in the room because of this concept.
It was ok. For Mirissa it was cheap, for Sri Lanka its normal price. Everything is clean, neat, new and the beach is so close: 10mins walking. Host brought us some real nice cold coconuts to cool us.
