We enjoyed our stay - the location to the beach and town was good and the villa was still in a quiet area. We appreciated the pool. The space was clean but could do with a few little things to make it more comfortable e.g. more private blinds on the bathroom, duvet for the bed, more storage.

For the price there are more special properties in Sri Lanka. The place felt like it could use a bit of a touch up; some paint, new towels, curtains, the toilet cover was dirty/old, the outside kitchen. There is no door to the bathroom, which is good to know regarding larger bathroom visits. Barely any space to hang or put your clothes. Nu closet and only 4 hangers.

We had a very nice stay at the Oasis villa. It is very peaceful with only 3 villa’s on the total property. The aesthetic of the room is very nice and the contact with the host was very friendly, helpful and always responsive. The other staff (cleaners, guards) were also great.

The security guard was acting a bit weird and was walking very close to the rooms which gave a bit of an uncomfortable feeling.

We loved our stay at The Oasis Villa! The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, and she manages her business with exceptional professionalism. When we decided to return at the last minute, Oasis Villa was fully booked, so we stayed elsewhere in Ahangama and we really saw a big difference. The location is superb, situated near Kabalna beach, and the surrounding area exudes tranquility and serenity. The room itself is tastefully decorated, and housekeeping diligently tends to it every day. Additionally, the main house, known as the Nuga House, features a charming café where you could enjoyed delightful breakfast and lunch. We definitely recommend staying at Oasis Villa. It truly offers an amazing experience.

We loved our stay - rooms were beautiful, clean and check in was seamless. Gas had run out in the air con in one room, they immediately fixed. The villas share a beautiful pool and communal kitchen, which works really well. very close to wonderful beach great for kids.

Nothing - SL has had a tricky 12 months - they have done well to keep going!

This place has a lovely ambiance and an attractive design (it is just as depicted). The garden and pool are well maintained (the pool is safe for children) and the local family of brown monkeys swing into the garden every day. The kitchen is very well stocked with stylish crockery. The ac and ceiling fan are excellent and the room is cool and mosquito free. Hard working caretaker Rangi pops in everyday (he’s actually also a History teacher and is great to chat to). Oasis is in a lovely, safe village with a friendly community - I had no problems returning in the dark alone at night. It is a couple of minutes from the beautiful beach and 20 minutes (on foot) to town where there are several banks, atms, beer shops, pharmacies and supermarkets . Nuga House is 2 minutes away which provides a local hub, there is a local store and a lovely local restaurant close by. SL has had a tricky year, but it is COMPLETELY safe, fully resourced and there is a happy atmosphere.

We liked everything

Located in the best area of Ahangama. You are close to everything, but quieter. The rooms and the common outdoor area are very tastefully done. We loved having a kitchen, perfect for breakfast or first coffee in the morning! Neus, the host, was super friendly with us, always available and open to help us with everything. We'll come back for sure!

I loved the place. So comfy and the whole vibe of the place is chilling and peaceful. The availability of outdoor kitchen and cooking facilities was very useful. Overall beautiful.

1) The bathroom, which has an attached toilet, does not have a door or a curtain to separate the space from the main room. This is not only highly unhygienic but also a privacy concern if you are travelling with someone other than your partner. Upon raising this with the manager, she responded that there are images of the open bathroom on booking.com. I rechecked the website for such images and found none. 2) We were moved to the bigger room because ours was infested with insects. This room had a glass door separating the bathroom from the rest of the space but it came with its own problems. The bath area was so tiny that the water would splash out into the main area causing a part of the bathroom to be flooded. Instead of fixing this issue, they have provided their guests with a mop so we can drain the water after we are done. 3) There was a very strong repugnant stench emitting in bathroom- and we realised it was a leakage in the commode. This is was the biggest red flag for me. 4) Stinky, musty bath towels were provided after repeatedly requesting for fresh ones. I find it appalling that the property owners/ managers did not think it important to visit the property to fix the multiple issues in the rooms before letting the customers stay in them. I have lived in multiple BnBs and this is by far the most unhygienic one i have stayed in.

Well located, close to the beach and all the cafes are a 5min tuk tuk journey. The staff was kind and helpful.

Its summer house not hotel at all door is broken can be easily opened without key all floor in water in bathroom safe box above this lake in the bathroom very uncomfy bed and Im not demanded smelly towels electris kattle will blow up if u did not press botton once boiled its dangerous it needs maintenance, not only cleaning

Overall a nice villa in a quiet area! There are 3 rooms, which share one pool and one common area with kitchen. +pool +kitchen with fridge +big bathroom +mosquito net +close from the beach +the main house (nuga house) has a nice little cafe for breakfast +friendly staff

Locations is okay, hard to find TUK TUK here We were provided with 2 contact numbers which was useful but we still had to wait for 10 mins or so. Beds were uncomfortable and we found 2 bugs in the room. We were provided with thin sheets rather than duvet 😕 The curtains were sheer so the room became very bright in the morning making it very hard to sleep.

The property is very aesthetic and offers great value for money
