Wilson’s place was perfect place to stay, the prices are reasonable and the room is huge, clean and tide. There is a/c and refrigerator, and if you like to get iron they will provide you. There also a water tank you can fill up your water for free. The plus thing you can find in this place is the small garden you can chill or do some yoga. Ramesh was delighted and helpful every time I needed him. Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again.

Pitty that there was no breakfast

The room was very spacious, clean, and the bathroom as well. Pretty recent and modern place, with very well functioning AC. Staff was also very nice, available, and always ready to help with anything. Also very close to Hiriketiya beach.

We loved our stay here! It was very clean and quite chic. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main beach/town and we loved that it was so quiet and relaxing yet still had that easy access. Thank you Rumesh and team!

The accommodation was very clean, which we really valued. With a tuk-tuk, it was easy to get anywhere quickly. The internet was reliable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was drinking water available for everyone 24/7. We were very satisfied with our stay!

This was the best place to stay in Hiri. Fantastic house. Super nice rooms. Great hosts. Paradise. Better to hire a scooter as it is a 4 min scooter ride to the centre.

It would be nice if breakfast could have been included and served on your terrace outside the room. Also, a minor thing but I found the pillows a bit hard for my liking so a nice touch would maybe to have 2 types, one soft and one firm so you can choose.

The property and rooms were absolutely gorgeous and so well designed with solid wood furniture and great attention to detail. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely and the outside space to sit and have a drink was gorgeous. The room had both a fan and aircon but due to the high ceilings the room was really cool at night with just the fan on which is good. It is about a 15 min walk to the centre of the beach and up a bit of a hill but it was no problem for us and there are plenty of tuk tuks available if you don’t want to walk.

Wilson’s guest house was finished to an exceptional standard that you would expect to find in a higher priced hotel. The owner Romesh has really thought through the design and decor of the rooms which make Wilson’s place special and was also very helpful with any questions we had. For us the location was perfect given a short walk out of the busy centre of town in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Although there is no breakfast offered there is a small family run restaurant opposite that provide great local breakfasts. We had a great 5 day stay.

The location was brilliant. Just outside of the main beach, but only a short walk to plenty of bars and restaurants. Wilson's place was friendly and clean and equipped with everything you need for a stay in Hiriketiya.

Nothing. What would make it even better is is they served breakfast and you could eat in on the porch. But there are places around for breakfast.

Quiet location, in between two beaches, Blue Beach and Hiriketiya Beach (both at about 10 minutes walking distance) that each have their own charm. The building is completely new, and the rooms and balcony are very spacious and well equipped. The balconies are connected but you have your own table and chairs. Also the interior and decorations are aesthetically pleasing. We liked that you could just make your own tea or coffee and cut your fruit. Breakfast options are literally next door, especially Maabi is a nice place. For lunch and dinner, better options are a bit of a walk (about 20 minutes) but plenty of ways to take a tuktuk.

One criticism would be the pillows, very hard and I felt the room could have done with a clean mid stay, we were there for 5 nights.

A very clean and comfortable room. Great bathroom, very spacious. The staff on site were very obliging and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Good location, close to Blue Beach and walkable to Hiriketya beach. Easy access for tuc tucs.

Rumesh and all the staff were super hospitable and friendly. The place has a great atmosphere and is very clean. The location is also good, just outside the busy Hiriketiya.

We cannot recommend this place enough, Rumesh is the perfect host and you can see the love, care and attention he has invested into Wilson’s Place, we did not want to leave. In fact, we tried to go back but it was fully booked! Incredible facilities, Hiriketiya beach is a 10 minute stroll away and you have everything there you could possibly need. Don’t pass on the opportunity to stay here!
