The pillows and the bed were not comfortable and also when I booked the room I didn't realized that there was no window or balcony and that was something I didn't like.

The location is excellent, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast perfect.

No windows in the room overlooking the outside. Lack of sunlight was really bothering us, but if you don't mind, it's not a problem I guess. Breakfast was scarce in options, but food was good

Hairdryer and drying rack did not work well, the girls at the reception had trouble with English not6 directly related to their duties. Parking is not close or cheap and the location is a bit too perfect, loud unless you have an interior room. Brakfast was only so-so for the price.

An interior room lets you sleep even with limited nightfall and insulates you from the noise of drunks at the strip club next door.

Breakfast was lovely. Room was spacious and comfortable. Had an internal window rather than external, so no nice view. But we suspect this is just the shape of the building- with inner courtyard views.

The hotel is next to open bars so if you get a room with a balcony facing the street it might be noisy. They offer you ear plugs though. I didn’t have this problem, because My room was internal, so as many people mention in other reviews, there was no window; still, there was physical light since the hotel has skylight and mirrors to reflect it.

The hotel is in the old town so the location is convenient. The room was clean enough and there is also a coffee machine. The breakfast was ok. There is an iron that you can borrow. The personnel was kind.

A lovely central location to everything. Great communication and friendly staff. 24hr reception and bar. Beautiful communal areas and rooms. Lovely size room and bathroom and all tastefully decorated. There was no outdoor window but that didn't bother us. Great breakfast and outlook on the 6th floor.

Great location in the old town. Number 22 bus and short easy walk. Hotel is smart and stylish but very affordable. Great staff. Fab breakfast. Latvia is a bargain city break. Some seriously good restaurants and fun bars. The old town and good bits nearby will take you two leisurely days to experience. After that you need to head to the beach or forests.

The two tiny 30ml bottles of hair/body wash were of a poor quality and far too small. The shower saturated the bathroom floor as the seal was broken on the door which could lead to someone having a nasty fall. The room was also quite cold at times even with having the heating on. The hairdryer was terrible. One of those ones you have to constantly press down hard for it to work causing cramps etc. There was no nozzle either.

The deluxe double room with 4 poster bed overlooking the square with views of the famous cat house and churches was really nice. Excellent location in the heart of old town. The bed was comfortable. All three ladies I encountered on the reception/bar while I was there were absolutely lovely.
