Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe really enjoyed our time in this desert camp. We stayed at the Hotel Les port du desert until our camel departure. We enjoyed crossing the dunes by camel and watching the sunset. We also tried sandboarding. In the evening, the staff prepared a delicious dinner for us and we enjoyed listening to the music of the drums and watching the fire dance. We were amazed by the starry sky. We had an unforgettable stay here and will be back next year!

United StatesWe had a chance to have camel trekking into the Sahara desert where we had an amazing overnight in the luxury tent. The food was great and the music around the fire with the local dance. Next day we had the sandboarding then we did the quad biking back to Merzouga through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Our guide was the best, we had all information how to control the quads that made it very easy

United StatesLoved the experience of sleeping in a tent in the Erg Chebbi desert, it was really magical. . This camp is a good hour and a half ride into the dunes, not like other camps we saw on the way which were much closer to Merzouga. Our camp was far from the 4WD noise and the town lights so it was really dark and quiet. Perfect for stargazing and enjoying the stillness of the desert. The food was good and our young guide Saaid very friendly.

BulgariaThis place was once in a lifetime. Absolutely incredible! We took the camels out at sunset and drove back in the morning when we had to depart. We were very sad to leave the staff could not have been kinder and the owner was on site the whole time helping us and checking in on us making sure our group was happy and comfortable which we were because they have WiFi, USB charging, hot water, nice bathrooms - everything! Food was great and there was so much of it! Would definitely recommend to friends and family

AndorraWe had a camel trip in the Sahara dunes near Merzouga, and stayed in a tent camp for the night. Slept under the stars (it would be too hot to sleep in the tents), ate a very good dinner, watched the sunrise. Our two guides played Berber instruments and sung traditional songs. The best you can do in so short a time to have a taste of the real desert. The landscape when you are between the dunes is simply fantastic.

CanadaAmazing experience at the Sahara tours. The camp was beautiful with lots of details and the tents are real luxury for the desert, nothing was missing. The team at the camp was amazing, they were all so friendly and welcoming and spoke perfect English. The food was the best we had in Morocco, lots to eat and delicious from starter to desert. Service was better than in some 5 stars hotels we visited. The night around the fire looking at the stars while listening to their soft music was perfect. We loved it all the way. Thank you to Mohamed and his wonderful team for a memorable experience in the desert. We fully recommend and would love to come back one day

AustraliaWe were greeted by staff at Sahara tours Luxury Camp and stayed in glamping style tent with a comfortable bed. We were served delicious Berber cuisine and enjoyed traditional berber music under the stars. The next day, after another delicious breakfast, we got to sand board and ride a camel through the desert - a truly memorable experience. We were offered (and accepted) the option to stay our second night at the camp . Thanks the staff

United StatesAbsolutely recommend this amazing team! They helped us to organise a very last minute tour very easily and smoothly. Our guide Said was so welcoming and knowledgeable - it was awesome travelling around with a local who knows the area like the back of his hand. The camp is gorgeous, right in the dunes and the team was so friendly. Thanks for a once in a lifetime experience! (Or maybe twice, it was so good we might come back!)

BelgiumThe whole aspect of sleeping in the desert is very magical, just you aren't the only camp side in that location. there were like several, so it takes a little part of magic away.
The location is amazing, is was an experience to sleep in the desert specially when we faced a sandstorm upon arrival and had the most amazing sunset one hour later. Dinner was magical, the camp is decorated with small lights, Breakfast was lovely and well served. The camp was not too big so not a large number of guest, made it very personal. The staff was very thoughtful and kind.

United StatesWi-Fi had no internet connection. There were no power outlets in the tents (just older-style USB plugs) so we had to charge our phones/devices in the main common tent (where dinner and breakfast were served)
Wonderful experience. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the camel ride over the sand dunes from the meeting place (parking lot of Hotel "Les Porte du Desert" in Ksar Merzouga) to the camp, and watching the sunrise in the morning. The food served for dinner and breakfast was very good. Note: There was an additional fee for the rides to and from the camp (choice of ride by camels or 4x4 jeep)
