The surroundings aren't exceptional, the riad is not very easy to find. There are lots of buildings under construction, but the area is safe. the dinner was very good but did cost a bit more than expected. the bathroom had no door but a curtain.

We enjoyed the warm hospitality of Fadma and her 2 sons, all the family was very nice and helpful. It is recommended with children. The riad has a pleasant and traditional atmosphere. The food was great. The other guests were considerate and quiet. The price/value ratio was good!

The hospitality was great! We had a delicious dinner at the Riad as requested. Perfect for a couple of nights in Ouarzazate if you have your own transport. Felt at home.

This is the best experience we’ve had traveling. I traveled here with one of my close friends and we were met with so much kindness. This was my first time in Morocco, and I don’t think I could have had a better experience in Ouarzazate. Ali and his mother, Fadma helped us plan our days, order our taxis, and navigate through shopping in the city center. Fadma and Faiza made each meal so homey and welcoming. Not to mention the cooking was the best food we had on our trip! Ouarzazate is a beautiful city and worth the visit, but our time there wouldn’t have been the same without Riad de Fadma. Being two young female travelers, they made us feel completely at home and welcomed. We can’t recommend it enough! We’re counting the days for when we can come back!

The property is beautiful but I think the electrical sockets need to be fixed to walls properly as it is a potential hazard.

I was in Tabounte for the dark skies and I was impressed. I was given unrestricted access to the roof of the Riad and was able to conduct my observations with my telescope. Ali’s mother is an excellent cook and makes wonderful traditional dishes.

The place is an authentic moroccan family house, that has been transformed into a hostel as the family moved out. All was left as it was, thanks to what the atmosphere of the place is very cosy and outstanding. In addition, the host, one of the sons of the family, who grew up in the place, is very noce and helpful. Welcomed us with a delicious tea and cookies with a warm chat and his precious tips on our plans. There is option of ordering a dinner, just talk to the host early enough so that he has sufficient time to prepare it.

There was no hot water for the shower. The road to the guesthouse is under construction, poorly lit. So be careful when arriving at night.

Very nice host Fadma and her son Ali. The guesthouse is very spacey and well furnished in Moroccan style. 360 view from the top terrace. Very good internet. Tasty breakfast. Not far from the historical center.

Brilliant hosts. Perfect price point. Walkable from the main town though a little bit out of town in the suburbs. However, for me this was perfect. Safe area and a bike shop at the end of the road if you want to hire a nice mountain bike for a day.

We really enjoyed to stay at this place even if it was just for 1 night. the hospitality and the breakfast were great and we felt very homey. We also had the offer for a spontaneous laundry service. Nevertheless there are some suggestions/improvements: shared bathroom was not very clean. There should be also a second (clean) bathroom available. Also in our room we could not totally open the blinds. It was quite warm. The blinds have to be repaired as we could not really let fresh air in. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend it specially for traveller with a car. Thanks to Fadma & Ali!

It was pretty hot, but that’s how it is in the desert, no fault of the Riad!!

Ali and Fadma were incredible hosts! So attentive and caring, and the food was incredible!! They really go above and beyond for every guest. The rooms and shared areas were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Also they have a tortoise!! The area is amazing, such a beautiful community and very safe. Would definitely come back, thank you so much!

We booked our one-night stay at Riad Dar Farma very last minute and were pleasantly surprised by how perfect it was. As two American tourists, we really enjoyed the riad experience. Breakfast was fantastic and promptly served and our hosts were gracious and informative. We especially appreciated the private, gated parking space and advice on things to see and do in the surrounding area.
