Be aware that there is no lift and up to 90 stairs to climb depending on which apartment you are in.

Compared to other properties where we stayed in Morocco, the check in and subsequent necessary interactions with the administrative staff at a remote site was less warm and appealing. Each time we needed to talk to the staff there was a different person working! However, all but one were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but the additional price did not match the value.

The room was well designed with a lovely private deck. The housekeeper was extremely friendly and kept the apartment very clean and tidy. Views from the room were wonderful. The almost 100 steps along a tight and winding staircase became a charming feature of this room, but it might be difficult for some people.

Very little perhaps slightly better lighting in the bathroom and maybe a small set of drawers but really very minor things and they did not affect our enjoyment of the studio or our stay there.

We had fabulous views one looking to the sea and the waves crashing on the rocks and the other over the rooftops towards the beach. We were at the top of the house so apart from the climb up the stairs to reach our room it was lovely to get there and see the view. We had access to the roof terrace but it was a little windy during our stay so did not use it very much. Our studio was well equipped and decorated. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff who cleaned and brought breakfast to us were delightful.

The location was fantastic and the views were out of this world. Rooftop terrace was an amzing added bonus. The apartment was really clean and comfortable. The staff was firendly and super helpful. 10/10 can't recommend more.

I may have been told at booking that only cash (MAD) would be accepted and payable at check-in but I wasn't prepared for that. Luckily an ATM was around the corner so it was not a problem.

The apartment is lovely! Just as described only better. The view is spectacular! Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good as well.

Lots of stairs to climb to the top rooms - probably about 50. They don't take credit cards so you need to obtain sufficient local Dirhams in advance or negotiate FX rates with Euros and or Pounds Sterling.

Outstanding sea views from roof terrace, especially the sunset. Excellent breakfast served in room or on the shared terrace for only 8 euros, great way to start the day.

Very pleasant place to be with very nice people. The breakfast was excellent and freshly made and the room was cleaned every day. The beds are very comfy, we had excellent sleep. The view from the top terrace was great. We definitely stay here again if visiting Essaouira in the future.

Stayed in apartment 9. Family of four so more room than we needed but actually the kids having a room each was great at the end of the week. Its in a great spot. Heart of old town by the wall with the sea behind (partial view) and quiet at night. Jack's apartment has an office 3 mins wal k away and they organise anything you need. We did horse riding and quad biking at the ranch du diabat which I highly recommend as a very well organised, safe and excellent outfit. Of the three nights we ate out the two dinners I would recommend was the loft (fab) and umia right by the appartnent which is high end. Essauoria is a joy. Did a surf lesson too, people are friendly.

Spectacular view - fabulous facilities - lovely ladies did a through job cleaning it every day - fully stocked ( equipment) kitchen - comfy bed - a beautiful space.
