Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandQuite basic breakfasts, every day the same and mostly sweet ones. You can pay with your card only for hotel rooms - food, hamman, taxes should be payed by cash.
Perfect location in medina, close to Ain Zetoun parking -good for those who travel by car. Very professional staff. Beautiful place, clean, calm. Hamman on place.

United States of AmericaBreakfast can be better. Maybe some type of eggs or savory thing would be great. Also some confusion about the staff sending someone to help with bags at the blue gate and then no one showing up. Pool had a lot of dead flies.
It was clean and location was great. Easy to get to the souks. Room was beautiful and good size. Abram was friendly and helpful.

PhilippinesI had expected the Riad to be much closer to the Blue Gate than it actually was. But the walk through the busy main street with little shops and street sellers did give us a better sense of the contrast between the relative mayhem of the outside world and the peace and tranquility of the interior of the Riad. It was not easy lugging our suitcases through the cobblestone streets and carrying them up to the 3rd floor. But once we have settled in, we were fairly comfortable in our room. The upside was being able to go out and do some shopping even late at night. If you want to dine in, you'll need to inform the desk one day ahead.
The Riad had a pool, which we were not able to use during our stay. It was nice to have a living room between the bedrooms where we could sit together. Service was friendly and attentive. Our driver called ahead so someone came to meet us at the Blue Gate, otherwise, we would not have found it easily inside the Medina. I misplaced an envelope with documents and thought I had left it in our room after check-out. I wrote the Riad and they immediately responded that they had cleaned the room and didn't find it there. Breakfast was good.

United States of AmericaThe riad was beautiful, but what made it an exceptional hotel was the friendliness of the staff. Meryam was so sweet and went above and beyond all our expectations!! We had a hamman while there and I highly recommend it.

BelgiumWhile the breakfast tended to be repetitive, the discovery that eggs could be requested added variety. Dinner, although correct, seemed slightly expensive compared to options in the Medina. Nevertheless, it was an overall great stay.
A delightful Riad in the heart of the Medina, featuring a paradise-like courtyard where breakfast is particularly enjoyable, and well-organized rooms add to the experience.

United States of AmericaBkft was rather limited in scope and did not adjust readily to input from guest. Like all Moroccan setups, it was a rare staff member (see Meriame above) who was prepared to suggesst other than the precanned tour guides, resturaants, etc. Minor details that hurt overrall elevation was a closest door that did not stay closed when shut, and lack of more than 1 trash can for apartment (only one was in bathroom). Also, needed map for finding hotel, Google Map is not up to task in medinas. Could be sent as part confirmation.
Faacilities were well up to what previous reviewers and photos had indicated, excellent overall. All staff members were helpful in addressing routine guests needs. One in particular, Meriame was quite helpful in printing changes in schedules and tickets required by adjustments to one's basic plan. She also actually listened to one's input and would than make recommendations to accomplish that even if requests were not for fanicest food or normal tourist sights/activities.

Everything! It was beautiful. The staff were so kind and attentive. It was a peaceful oasis to come home to after wandering the labyrinth of the Medina, and it was very easy to get to- only a couple of moments away from the Blue Gate.

SpainNothing to not like.
Absolutely amazing Riad, located very close to tala kebira and the blue gate, right where you want to be inside Fes medina but close to the gate. Really good value for price paid, good breakfast, quiet and spacious room with powerful A/C. A special mention goes to the staff, in particular to Lahcen, who went above and beyond to make our stay friendlier. He gave us several tips on the area, even booked a local restaurant on the phone on our behalf. Will definitely stay in Riad Sabah whenever we return to Fes.

United States of AmericaRiad Sabah was really like an oasis when we walked inside after navigating the dark alleys of the medina. We were warmly greeted, and seated in the center courtyard- which was gorgeous! We were given mint tea and some delicious cookies while our paperwork was being done. (we are still looking to find more of those cookies!) Our bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy and clean. (air conditioner worked great). breakfast was very lovely in the courtyard- with the fountains and the pool. You can also request to eat on the rooftop- which we forgot about. but it has a great view of the city. last- Mariem was super helpful- gave us many tips about the medina- and marked some things on the map for us. But she also suggested an excellent restaurant and called and made a reservation for us for dinner. (which was excellent- and the interior was incredibly beautiful!)

ItalyNothing - everything was perfect.
Riad Sabah was just amazing, pictures do not show properly how pretty it is inside. The position is just perfect, right by Bab Boujloud gate so at the beginning of the medina. Breakfast was great, really clean facilities and staff was super welcoming and warm, in particular Akram was always so available and warm with us, we felt at home. Highly recommended. P.s. don't forget to check out the view from the top terrace!

SpainI love the place, its like a small palace in the Medina, near the main entry and the parking, about 10 minutes walking. Very clean, they speak english perfect, and with an atmosphere very elegant. Its amazing to arrive so tired after 3 hours walking through the Medina, with the hit, and to swim in their pool in the middle of the patio like in the Alhambra, you feel as a Princess!!!!
