The shower temperature was a bit erratic but we managed. We loved the Casablanca Suite but the stairs up to the 2nd floor were a little hard work after a day's walking.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged airport transfers. The breakfast was brilliant including a full gluten free option. The Riad itself is beautiful with a lovely, peaceful courtyard. It is in a great location with easy walking to restaurants, taxis and ATMs.

The Jacuzzi and the decoration are incredible, dont waste time searching for something Better, this place is the best

Our room wasn’t as nice as others, but it was among the less expensive in the riad. We had the opportunity to change to a beautiful suite, and we declined…so that is on us.

The water didnt stay warm for long, so couldn't take a bath with warm water.

Our stay at this Riad Alya was absolutely delightful! The staff were not only great but incredibly kind, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. The cleanliness of the riad was impeccable, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The food served was delicious, offering a taste of authentic Moroccan cuisine. I highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay in Fez.

I didn't like the fact that the bathroom has windows that cannot be covered.

One of the most beautiful riads I've seen. Great ambience and decor, very clean, nice and spacious rooms and amazing service. Location is also very good to get to the blue gate. Food is also nice and fresh, though having more healthy options for breakfast, including fruits and yogurt would make it even better.

Everything was great!

We loved our stay at Riad Alya. Welcoming Staff. Communication was perfect. They accommodated our vegetarian requests. We were arriving late - and they arranged late dinner service for us. We departed VERY early for the airport in Fes and they packed brown bag breakfasts for us to take with us. Rooms were large and spacious. Roof top terrace provided a beautiful view of the city. Our driver in a Van was not able to get to the street to Riad Alya - so the property sent a staff person and a person to manage our luggage in a trolley to help us get to the hotel! The same service was provided when we left our hotel early on our departure! That was key and they provided that for no extra fee except to tip the luggage person. Extra special service.

The welcome anniversary champagne and food and service were amazing. The daily breakfast was excellent! Locally sourced, so much variety and huge. We never ate lunch because we were still full from breakfast!

We missed a bit more of the recommendation about for example having dinner outside the Riad.

I love the building and the location, it's like a hidden treasure. Also the home made breakfast was fantastic. The staff is kind and organized a Hamman experience in the Riad for us, that was one of the best we had. Really worth it. Also they organized a private tour with a local guide that was really amazing. We really felt the life and the treasures inside the medina.

This riad was magical. The staff was helpful, welcoming, super friendly and arranged experiences for us. We ate 4 amazing dinners there. The hammam was fabulous. We were met at the airport and taken back by wonderful skilled drivers. The riad organized a guide to the medina, hugely helpful and fascinating. We loved our room and the spectacular courtyard. I want all my friends to come here. Really loved the whole staff!!!!

A beautiful stay with first class service from Lahcen, Hussein, Chaymae and Idriss, who made us feel so welcome and were always on hand re: recommendedations and booking things like tours, taxis, excursions, hammam etc. The riad is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful, traditional central courtyard and fountain and breakfast/dinner area. The whole place felt clean, comfortable, spacious, and is minutes from the heart of Fez. A real hidden gem/oasis that is close to the centre of the medina and also a place to get away from it all. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Getting luggage to the Riad from the square where the vehicle can be parked costs the visitor 20 MD. However the Riad is only about 200-300 m from the square where you park the car. In the Tangier room, the bathroom is on the upper floor accessed through the room itself. Of course the common WC on the groundfloor was made accessible to guests so at nights,instead of climbing stairs you could go out of the room to relieve yourself rather than climb the stairs...

The greeting at the arrival was spot on. The Riad itself has a beautiful courtyard that is decorated elaborately. It is located at a walking distance from the Blue gate and the El Glaoui palace . The rooms had comfortable beds and breakfast was a mixture of Moroccan flatbreads and eggs. Dinner on the roof top was very delicious.

It is located in the edge within the old town Medina and although a short walk to the market etc, it was not very easy to find your way around without a guide. When we ventured into the new town it was and a half hour walk but easy to navigate and interesting.

The facilities were fabulous. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. The look and feel of the courtyard and dining area was amazing - very beautiful mosaic and stucco work on the archways and walls. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, large wardrobe and well appointed bathroom. The dining for both breakfast and dinner was wonderful with authentic home cooked Moroccan meals that were delicious! We also enjoyed the traditional Hammam and the relaxing massage available at the property.

The staff was very friendly for us and do everything to make us feel comfortable with our 1 year old child. We had the suite Casablanca, which was really beautiful. We would recommend this riad to everyone
