Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsWe had to pay for cold water. Which is okay but wasn't communicated before. The camel ride was 25 euros, which we also didnt know. Communication about prices is the only thing that lacked. We would not have made any different choices.
Ths staff is really friendly, advices us on everything and is honest! The tents are clean and of good quality. Good dinner and transport.

CanadaI think that in terms of the music around the campfire, maybe just one or two songs would be enough, it went on a little long. Just being in silence and looking at stars would be more desirable.
Though this is obviously a very tourist experience, we did not feel like we were jammed, too close to other camps and really appreciated all the care and attention made to create this beautiful camp experience. We only stayed for one night and that is what I would advise. I’m not sure what you would do for most of the day and it can be pretty hot during the day. Arriving in the early evening and leaving in the am was perfect.

GermanyThis is a very nice camp in the desert with a great service. We had a great time. However, be aware when booking a tent in Erg Chebbi. There are many scam offers around. Always double check on google maps or social media whether the place is real. This one is legit!

RomaniaWe .had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Sirroco. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm and genuine hospitality that made us feel at home in the heart of the desert. The hosts are incredibly attentive to every guest's needs, always smiling and ready to help or share fascinating stories about Berber culture. One aspect that truly impressed us was their dedication to entertaining their guests. From camel rides at sunset to campfires accompanied by traditional music, every moment spent here was magical. We especially enjoyed the drumming sessions under the starry sky and the energetic dances that made us feel part of a unique world. The food was simply delicious! Every meal was a true celebration of Moroccan flavors, with perfectly cooked tagine, richly spiced couscous, and sweet desserts that delighted our taste buds. The chefs are exceptionally talented, and each dish was prepared with great care and passion. If you're looking for an authentic desert experience in Morocco, Sirroco Tent is the perfect choice! The welcoming atmosphere, attention to detail, and the hosts' passion for creating unforgettable moments make this place a true oasis of joy. We will definitely be coming back!

CanadaEverything was nice, confortable, and calm. Plenty of blankets for February. Nice spots to relax. The food was some of the best we had in Morocco and portions were well sized. Mustafa made sure we had what we need and Youssef was easy to communicate with. Had a great campfire night. They have a good spot in the dunes as well. Would recommend.

SwitzerlandBreakfast could have been better, but given we were camping, I would not fault them in the slightest. Great stay
Really great stay, super friendly staff, very inclusive of the guests. Hot water showers, bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Good food, and very nice experience in the desert. The staff was the best part, and the drumming at night around the campfire

AustriaClose proximity of other camps and many people crisscrossing the area on quads and 4x4 but that seems inevitable unless one wants to spend the time to go to a (much) more far-away-from-hotels type camp. Still bothered us much less than expected and did not dilute the overall very nice experience
Quiet small camp, nice „tent“ (better than many hotel rooms), good food and very nice staff. Camelride to the camp was fun

Amazing location, we were guided really well from the start of the desert, riding camels to the tents where we would stay overnight. The staff at the camp was incredibly friendly, and the tent we slept in was very comfortable and beautiful. Everything was organized beyond expectations!

Franceno plugs in the tent what made it a bit difficult to recharge the cell phone. There are plugs in the restaurant and all this is not really important, one is there to enjoy the desert.
The whole stay was excellent, the camal ride to the camp very enjoyable. The host was very kind and the dinner very good. Since we were travelling out of season we have been the only guests in the camp what we enjoyed very much.
