More soundproof glass would be helpful; more sophisticated music in the restaurant would be in keeping with the intended elegance of the property and the serenity of surroundings.

Restaurant food was hit and miss, overpriced for the quality. That said, breakfast was fabulous. Location was a bottle out the way, taxi or car required to get to Kotor old town.

We loved the hotel however the restaurant in our opinion didn't feel like good value. The food was ok (apart from the breakfast which was lovely) but for two very small salads and two diet cokes at lunch we were paying around 70Euros which we thought was alot. A large botte of water was close to 8euros. We just didn't feel that was good value and opted to eat in Kotor main town or Perast which is great if you have a car or happy to get a taxi. Kotor is about 1hr walk to the old city from the hotel - we often did it because the traffic was bad. It didn't impact our stay, we still had an amazing time and will certainly stay here again - we fell in love with the place!

We loved this beautiful boutique hotel, the fact that it was small made it feel intimate and had a real personal touch. The staff were all incredible and really made the holiday. The views were spectacular, rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay special and enjoyable. We are not big cake eaters but the cakes were to die for, especially the moskav cake and cream pie - you must try them! So much attention to detail that really went a long way for us - thank you - we will definitely be back!

We loved everything about this hotel. It’s beautifully done and exceptionally clean. The location was far enough out of the old town to not be disturbed by noise, but not too far to hop in a cab to visit. The breakfast options were brilliant. Choose a hot dish from the menu and help yourself to the continental options also. We did eat lunch at the hotel regularly. It isn't cheap, but if you want cheap, you wouldn’t be staying at Forze Mare. You get what you pay for! There are plenty of take aways in town though. You can borrow bikes to cycle into town. What made this place so special were all the staff. They don’t stop all shift. They work long days/nights in the incredible heat, but they’re always so pleased to see you. Polite, big smiles and always willing to help. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye to them.

Our room was located next to the lobby desk so very noisy all the day The restaurant is expensive 3 times than what you could pay in any restaurant and the food is not so good

The staff here are amazing. Really top-notch service and the amenities at this hotel are very nice. I needed to iron my shirt for dinner, and they had housekeeping do this for me in 10 minutes with no charge! Nice warm pool, great entrance to the bay, just a lovely place.

Incredible location in a beautiful and peaceful part of kotor bay. We rented bikes from the hotel and cycled to kotor old town (3km), which was a perfect day trip, and the rest of the time we swam in the lake. Service was excellent - friendly and helpful. And the food at all meals in the restaurant was a real highlight. A fantastic stay and we we would highly recommend it.

This small boutique hotel is an absolute gem!!! Everything is perfect from the location, the rooms, the breakfast room/menu. The outdoor seating, private beach. Pure luxury and attention to detail is incredible!!! We stayed here September 2023 and could not wait to return and bring our grown up kids and partners! They too fell in love with it immediately. Almost want to keep this place a secret but feel selfish if I don’t share how great it is. Cannot wait to return a third time and for longer. Would highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed. Dyanne and her whole team cannot do enough for you! They go beyond the call of duty to make your stay the most perfect stay you could ever have and nothing is too much trouble 🥰🙏🙏🥰

The only complaint was the food, it was not value for money or the standard we'd expect for the hotel we were staying at. Breakfast buffet was amazing, evening meal was not good. We had some amazing meals in Montenegro especially off the main tourists routes for around 20 euros for both of us. The meal at this hotel knocked us back 120 euros for two courses and one glass of wine each !

The hotel itself and the staff were amazing, the facilities were fabulous and the bikes provided for the guests were ok, a bit pricey considering you could hire the same bike 5 minutes along the front for half the price.

Great place , extraordinare location with a stunning view into the bay of Kotor, great service, very friendly personal , great breakfast buffet. Quiet expensive but definately worth it. The private beach ist great for relaxing, nice jacuzzi, outdoor pool. We will come back and recommend it 110%. !!!!

If you want to be closer to old town or something more historic it could be perceived as a bit far!

This property is amazing. Gorgeous views, located between Kotor and Perast. The rooms were beautiful and the property was gorgeous. Service was excellent.

Had to change room as it was right next to the reception area. The decor of the rooms was not to my taste and I wouldn't consider it 5* in comparison to the price of €400 a night.

The location for Montenegro is perfect. The staff truly wonderful. Very family run quaint hotel. Breakfast lovely. Beautiful views from the room and the perfect place for relaxation and to get easy access to everywhere. The walks in front of the hotel down the sea bank are excellent with some charming restaurants and places to relax. There is one sand beach 20m walk towards Kotor Old Town.

Nothing it was the best!!

We were travelling around so unfortunately only stayed one night. This hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed at. We were welcomed by friendly staff and our bags were collected from the car. Our room was beautiful and big with a great bathroom which had a huge shower and lots of shampoos etc and there was a balcony. A bowl of fresh chopped fruit was brought to our room 15 mins after check in with was lovely. We booked time in the spa which you get exclusive use of and also booked a massage. Beds were comfortable and the aircon worked well. There was a fridge on the room was treats you could buy. Water cooler in the inside restaurant where you can refill bottles etc. Staff are permanently busy cleaning and picking leaves etc. The whole hotel was spotless. There is also an outdoor spa bath which we didn’t use. The view from the private beach / restaurant was so beautiful and we watched the sunset here. The restaurant was serving BBQ food so we ate here and the food was great. The breakfast was so good! Fresh fruit, choice of hot food, warm pastries, fresh juices, nuts etc. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Kotor wasn’t far away and was a really nice small town. We did the cable cars and the mountain coaster which we really enjoyed.
