United KingdomThe only thing we didn’t expect was that the hotel had majority families & young kids, not other couples.
We had an amazing trip at this hotel! We stayed for 6 nights for our honeymoon and loved the incredible breakfast (one of the best we’ve had at any hotel), staff, and pool/beach facilities. Our favourite food was the Japanese restaurant (amazing sushi and other dishes) and the chocolate desserts for the pop-up steak night.

United KingdomIncredible level of service and attention to detail by all members of staff at this hotel - they truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, comfortable and well looked after in general. They were not only happy to accommodate any request, but would also proactively offer extra service or ideas to make our stay more customised to our preference. Additionally, everyone among the staff addressed us by our surnames during our 3-night stay, which added a very nice personal touch. Overall, this was our favourite hotel and location during our 10-day trip to Mauritius, with by far the best and biggest beach, which was so well maintained and kept very clean by the hotel’s team. There were more than enough sun-loungers and parasols for all hotel guests without needing a reservation, and the great thing about the layout on such a big beach is that there was only one row of sun-loungers, so everyone gets a prime spot and view of the sea. The hotel’s 5 restaurants are all excellent with a wider array of choice, so you don’t get bored of having the same food all the time; we particularly enjoyed the Indian restaurant. The breakfast buffet is amazing and also has one the best bakery sections I’ve seen in a hotel. Our room was big, comfortable, clean and close to the beach, and the layout of the property makes it so that all rooms feel spaced out enough for everyone’s privacy. Both swimming pools looked great, but as the beach and sea were so nice and clean here, we never really felt the need to use the pools. Be sure to check out the daily activities organised by the hotel and also bespoke activities such as swimming with dolphins, which was absolutely spectacular. Last but not least, while I never particularly like hotel gyms (as they are often just a small fitness room), this hotel has a decent size gym where you are greeted and assisted by a professional fitness trainer, and where you can find a good variety of machines and equipment for a great holiday workout.

Great location, we had a lot of sun while in the middle of the island could have been raining. Very transparent azure water. Lots of space and privacy, yet competent list of activities and special dinners. Great cuisine. We stayed in the house next to the beach ( first floor) and everything was just perfect. Service impecable always staff is around yet discreet. I would like to mention Neha, our guest relationship lady that made our stay feel like 10 ++++ stars. Very personal approach, lots of initiative, it felt that she is not just doing her job but making sure that we are in love with the place, the island and its people cuz she loves her island and want to share the love with us. Thank you again Neha ( especially for photos in lighten frame that you made for us - very nice touch ) till next time !

RomaniaIn the first two nights we were disturbed by the sewage noise. The toilet room smelled of urine and sewage. The cleaning is done superficially and the bed linen was never changed during the 6 nights of accommodation. I checked out early because I was leaving in the morning the next day. In the morning, when I handed over the room key, I was detained for the rest of the payment... the fabulous sum of 124,75 MUR (2.4 euros)... it was explained to me that it was a service charge for replacing mini bar products.

RomaniaLuxury resort in Mauritius. Exellent buffet breakfast with everything you wish for. Nicely located with tables by the pool. Large room with a big and comfortable bed. Not noisy. We had the room in a standard building, at groundfloor and there is only one floor above. It seems that all the room have ocean view. Some of them are closer to the beach than others. The beach is the best on the island: quiet, without water sports, calm and clean water without rocks or seaweed. The big pool is cold, but it seems it’s like this in other hotels, too. There is a smaller pool with warm water, but it’s usually crowded with kids. There are several restaurants inside the resort for dinner. Other resorts nearby have their own restaurants (same prices). So you have no choise than to dine at the resort. No cheap restaurants in the neighborhood. Staff is very friendly, polite and supportive. The entire place is really beautiful.

We very much enjoyed our stay. From the beginning we were very well welcomed and the first impression was high. We were impressed by the beauty of the place and by the kindness of the staff. Everything was made to make us feel good, and at home. We traveled with our 11 months baby and all arrangements were made for him, which was very appreciated. The room was perfect, the view is paradise. We would like to express a special thank you to Aroumel, Neha, Juliana, Ravisen and Kunal. All the staff is nice but they are particularly nice and their level of service is clearly above anything we have seen across all our previous travels.

RomaniaI booked through booking . com and I was expecting a business receipt, at least after booking would have settled, but the reception didn't seem to want to help very much. They said they will talk to finance, but nothing happened and didn't get any answer, although I made the booking (paid in full) in february and exchanged a lot of emails with them on this matter during 5-6 months. This was a bitter taste, but maybe it will get sorted out in the future.
We loved everything. It's paradise, with very good services. I loved the people that work there, specially our butler Tej, who helped us with changes to our room's matress and others and was very present everyday. He's such a kind soul! Also the staff in the restaurants like Istika, who always had super good energy, although we were seeing her at work a lot, she never got tired. We also had fun with Vicky, our beach waiter, very friendly and at our service. Great people!

NorwayWe got help with the luggage from (service man) when we were checking out(422), he went into the bedroom "to check the terrace door"( I dont know WHY?) and took a tip from the bedside table which we left for the cleaning lady (MUR 500) and said he will give her the money, I don't think he do it but i hope :(
