Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThe toilet sewage at the Water Villa can be improved.
My family of 4 adults had a splendid vacation at LUX South Ari Atoll! Staff were warm and friendly. We are especially grateful to Giada, for her prompt response and making every effort to personalise the activities for my family members during our 6D5N stay. There was an excellent spread of quality food. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the ice cream served by Masud at ICI. We enjoyed the complimentary outdoor photo shoot. A picture speaks a thousand words. The photos will always remind us of how we celebrated life at LUX South Ari Atoll in Maldives. For spa lovers, don't miss out on the Signature Spa Treatment!

RussiaPrices on extra services (and restaurants) a little bit too high. It's understandable due to complicated supply chain and it's not a big deal, but still could be frustrating and it could be a point of potential improvement.

United KingdomNope!
Food is amazing! Many options and all taste good. Umami is the best. Even though it’s not included in the all inclusive plan, it’s worth trying it at least one night. The chef Allen and server Aiman are very nice. We enjoy the food and service there so we go there twice in this trip. Cocktail is great too. The resort is large so they offer shuttle. The driver Mofijul is very helpful and we feel his passion to the job. Coffee is another highlight on the island. It’s impressive and recommended everyone to join the Latte Art class. The teacher (sorry I forget your name) is professional and he is the coffee expert. He answered all my questions. Scuba diving is exceptional too. The diving center is professional. We don’t have a diving license but we can still enjoy scuba diving. We are so lucky to see manta, sea turtle and small shark and more fishes. Amazing! I will definitely come back to this resort.

The food in East Market must be in varieties as we've stayed there for 4 nights, the food varieties only differs 1day to another. This means you will have the same dinner when you come on Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday

United Arab EmiratesAll-inclusive as always is a nice seller but in reality, many things are excluded from the all-inclusive package. They did include restaurants not included in the all in package in their hotel information shared upfront and that was transparent on their side, however in most places that were included in the all-in package, certain menu items were not and I found this to leave an unnecessary cheap after taste in an otherwise impeccable experience. Maybe having a 'super all-inclusive' with a little markup could help or otherwise maybe limit the 'better' restaurants in terms of bookings per customers per stay or something like that. Other than that we had no issues since many things were offered for free (including really nice, on-site roasted coffee).
From an amazing seaplane lounge in Male with amazing food and drink options) to a super friendly reception right off the Seaplance dock, to a personal concierge service (with daily whatsapp activity plans), to on-site roasted specialty coffee, and many things more....that place is really fantastic. This was our first time on the Maledives and we were really happy. Lots of stuff to do for kids and adults alike. Really stunning island layout and infrastructure (there are literally 500 different Instagram'able spots all across that island). Everyone was super friendly and you could see the staff was trained well (not a single person we drove past with our bicycles who did not greet us and wished us a good day/ morning/ etc). Shout out to Camille, our personal guest advisor who kept us up to date with each day's activities and restaurant bookings for the day. Overall super nice and we'd definitely come back.

United KingdomAmazing experience, what a wonderful place, it was a paradise. The food was unbelievable and all the staff was so nice. The island is big enough to walk every night to different areas and not to get bored. It was good that there were a lot of restaurants and bars so we had a big choice. We did the photoshoot they offer and got unbelievable pictures. Overall we loved it. Had our stay split between the romantic pool villa and the beach villa and i think we liked the beach villa more. It was way more spacious and with direct access to the sea, almost like private beach. Also no matter how many guests there were, you can always find private areas around the island, and have awesome pictures. It was a paradise. Absolutely loved the lush vegetation!

United KingdomThere was nothing not to like.
The resort was just extraordinary, the villas were modern and clean, well decorated and kept. We tried two villas - the Beach villa and the Romantic Pool Villa. Both were extremely comfortable, spacious and at great locations - very close to all the restaurants and bars. The staff were extremely polite and wonderful, always open to chat and answer any questions. The resort is organising a lot of activities, movie nights, presentations, workshops (coffee decoration and coral planting were amazing), themed food night (the Maldivian night was spot on), we played darts and pool, and backgammon, all areas are very sophisticated and calm. And the food - OMG, delicious, simply amazing, extremely varied and well catered for food allergies (gluten in our case). Both buffet restaurants were extraordinary, we absolutely loved them, and the Senses restaurant had the best views and curries! The resort was so much more than we expected, beaches are pristine and well kept, the seagrass is prevention beach erosion which is awesome since the sand was out of this world – white and soft. And the water – I have never been in cleaner and warmer/better sea/ocean. Kelly was our personal guide and helper on the island, she was incredible in accommodating and organising all activities and bookings for us, even a cake for my birthday. And Nihan – the marine biologist on site, was an absolute treasure, explaining and showing all there is about the ecology and conservation of the resort and Maldives as a whole. We also had a private photography session and the photos we got are out of this word! Highly recommend doing this. The island is very green and full of flora and fauna, which is incredible. They are also improving the house coral reef and there is a smaller one to visit on your own very close to the pier. The experience completely exceeded our expectations, and we could have not been happier.
