We thoroughly researched our Maldives stay, and we are so glad we chose Lobigili. This trip was to celebrate our anniversary and the proposal that had happened just a few days earlier, and it could not have been more perfect. Even though it was technically low season, we had glorious weather every single day. From the moment we stepped off the 20-minute transfer from Malé, we felt like we had arrived on a remote island paradise. Our water villa was out of this world — spacious, beautifully designed, and with uninterrupted ocean views. The food was consistently delicious, with every meal feeling like a treat. The gym was breathtaking, making workouts an absolute pleasure. Ruchi took such wonderful care of us throughout our stay, and every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The house reef may not be the most vibrant we’ve seen, but it still gave us unforgettable moments — swimming with turtles, reef sharks, and even manta rays. Lobigili exceeded every expectation, and we left feeling relaxed, happy, and already dreaming of returning.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

We loved everything about the property. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable; the sound of the waves at night and the views from the deck were stunning. The customer service from every single member of staff was impeccable, especially from Maryem who looked after us during our stay. The food was exceptional and there was not one thing that we didn’t like in the restaurant. This was the best experience we have ever had, all thanks to OBLU select Lobigili!

It is nice to get away from technology for few days and this is place for it but unfortunately all communication is done through WhatsApp and there were constant messages with activities bookings, good morning messages, sleep well messages, etc so you could not get away from using your phone for the whole time.

The food provided at all the restaurants was exceptional. Being adults only created an environment of serenity. The activities of snorkelling, massage and fishing were well organised. The transfers from the airport to the resort and back were fast and the boat was always waiting for us. The room was outstanding with wonderful views of the water and fish.

Our stay at this Maldives resort was absolutely phenomenal! We were celebrating both our babymoon and our anniversary, and the resort made it unforgettable. Maryam, our amazing personal assistant, went above and beyond to prepare the most delightful surprises for us, making our celebrations extra special and full of joy. The food was delicious, and our overwater villa was not only beautiful and modern but also impeccably clean. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the VIP service at the airport, including luggage handling and access to a private lounge, made our journey seamless. I can’t recommend this resort enough for a truly magical getaway!

my maldives vacation was incredible. everything is perfect, the view, the activities, the resorts, the place, the food, the staffs, specially out host mechelle, which is she take care of everything we needed, i went there to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend. and they make it special , the under water restaurant, the fine dining, drinks, its all excellent service. we are like a king and queen stays there. everything you need is there. even the weather is unpredictable this moment but they do their best to make snorkeling, sunset cruise happen. and i would love to come back to this place next holiday. thank you lobi team. this Love island is exceeded beyond my expectations. and i cant wait for another holiday there.

We liked everything

Excellent property, relatively new and stylish, villas are designed very thoughtfully, with the soul. All inclusive package is very extensive, we didn’t have to think or plan anything, our kind host Saai had the schedule set up for us with daily activities, excursions and dining. We loved the undersea restaurant, very nice concept and it’s included in the package as well. Most resorts don’t have spa treatments within the all inclusive, but Oblu does and it’s impressive. Fitness facilities are one of the best in Maldives, you could definitely get fit there under the patronage of Lobigili’s fittest and kindest man - Randika who I a personal trainer on the spot. Complete beast 👌 Buffet at Ylang Ylang is also absolutely wonderful, it’s essentially a restaurant with a high standard food and excellent service. Special thank you to Elin, Jenny, also a sweet lady (forgot the name) who calls Jenny her mama :) We also wanted to thank Sumeda for his professionalism and keeping the buffet standard at its highest level. Proximity to Male is a great plus, it allows for more time at the resort both during the arrival and the departure.

The only downside was the buffet! It had a decent variety, but the quality didn’t quite match the rest of the resort’s high standards. Hoping to see some improvements there for next time!
