Absolutely the Best Stay Ever – Paradise on Earth! Rating: 100/10!!! I recently had the pleasure of staying on the enchanting island of Mathiveri in the Maldives, and it was nothing short of paradise on earth. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff, making me feel right at home even though I was traveling alone. The beach was stunning, a true slice of heaven with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. The accommodation was immaculate and well-maintained, comparable to top-tier hotels. The food was delicious and exceptionally flavorful, offering a delightful culinary experience every day. Despite visiting in June, which is considered off-season, the weather was perfect with a consistent 30°C and not a drop of rain in sight. I did have a minor mishap where my phone got waterlogged and stopped working. However, Mr. Shohag came to my rescue by providing a bowl of rice to help dry it out. He also kindly let me use his phone to contact my family and friends via Instagram and assisted me in ordering a new phone, which arrived the very next day. Mr. Naushad was incredibly helpful right from the booking process. He promptly sent me all the necessary information and explained the schedule for the speedboat from the capital, Male, to Mathiveri Island (approximately a 2-hour ride at a cost of $50 each way). Mr. Farhad organized all the excursions, and they were beyond amazing. I swam with sharks, rays, and snorkeled around vibrant coral reefs where I spotted sea turtles. They recorded everything with a GoPro, providing me with stunning footage and photos that are true masterpieces. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, Mathiveri Island is the ultimate destination. The combination of beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect getaway.

Fans should be put in the dining area. It's very hot and you can't stay at the table for more than 15 minutes.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the view is amazing, the staff is kind and helpful. The food is very tasty and the portions are large. The excursions offered by the hotel were well organized.

The staff was friendly but sometimes we had the feeling we were bothering them with our requests . But maybe it was just our impression, eventually they always helped us.

Lovely guesthouse,beautiful location, big, comfortable and clean rooms, also the balconies in the rooms are amazing.breakfast is great and served in a nice small courtyard. They also have a great terrace where you can have dinner.

The guesthouse is clean and the room was new and beautiful. There were no toiletteries like handwash etc or safety deposit box and the shower water came very very slowly, but otherwise the room was perfect. Close to the pier and nice views to palmtrees and the sea. The Bikini beach and the sandbank are on the other side of the island, but it's a small island, so easy to walk.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel, specially i loved the sea view from my room, it was amazing. The hotel is located very close to the harbour and close to everything. The stuff of the hotel was very nice and helpfull, i got lovely breakfast each morning and I got helped with everything I asked. Thank you Farhad for this amazing stay!

An incredible accommodation in a special spot of Paradise. Excellent location given to the proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with the turquoise blue sea and a large coconut forest just 5 seconds from the accommodation's door. The photos of the accommodation clearly show the brutal essence of the location. The rooms with sea views are fantastic, very well equipped and cleaned daily. The STAFF is very friendly and is always available to help us with whatever we need. Transfers from the island to Capital Male are very well synchronized with speed boats. There are two types of breakfast, Local and continental, we always wanted the continental. The continental breakfast is wonderful and the lunches and dinners prepared by the staff are divine on the terrace overlooking the coconut trees and the breathtakingly beautiful sea, always with fresh fish from the island and other wonderful ingredients!

A small island far from Male, with a quiet and clean guesthouse. The dock and beach are just a stone's throw away, making it very suitable for families who love fishing. After visiting four islands in the Maldives, we liked Mathiveri and this guesthouse the most and hope to visit here again. The staff are very friendly. Food is fancy so as the activities. Not crowded and cozy for everyone.

Best location next to the palm tree forest and only a few metres away from the sea, as well as a few minutes from the Bikini Beach. We really recommend the island Mathiveri and Riveli Retreat for having an unforgettable holiday on the Maldives. Farhad and Shohag, the hosts, made our stay very special. They are very professional but also kindhearted people who provide everything you need. They even arranged private boat tours to go snorkeling and see manta rays, turtles, dolphins and much more for a reasonable price. Furthermore the food they cooked was among the best we have eaten on all our holidays. We really loved it at Riveli Retreat and there‘s nothing negative to say about it. Thank you again Farhad and Shohag! We definitely hope to come back one day ☺️

This hotel and its staff made our stay unforgettable. We are all very thankful. The location is perfect. We had the ocean and palms view from our balcony and in the morning, we just enjoyed the silence and nature sounds, ocean waves and palm rustling. We had a breakfast in the yard, by the ocean. Staff was super attentive, like 24/7. They were super helpful, super nice and polite, gave us local insights and advice. The guy in the reception was super smiley and hardworking. He also helped us to print our boarding cards for the flight. Plus, he kept cleanliness on highest level all the time. We also took snorkeling excursion here and the tour was amazing as well. P.S. they can also help you book speedboat from the capital city to an island. 5+ stars from all of us. Thanks, forever grateful. 🙏
