Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe hotel had masculine energy especially in the room. Meaning the lighting was lovely but not for a women to put on make up or get dressed. The shower had no step or bench for extra items or to shave (for women). The room had thin walls and you could hear a lot of noise but the hotel provided earplugs.
Loved the property very much. Staff was friendly and helpful especially Adrian. He bent over backwards to help me. Location was awesome if you want to stay in Roma Norte. The hotel food was amazing!

PakistanSlightly overpriced No sealed water in the room, they refill glass water bottles. But this is a small issue they can easily fix
Exceptional staff: friendly, accommodating, always providing solutions to any issue I had whether it's arranging emergency transport, guiding me about the city, or accommodating me even though I got very late for breakfast. The breakfast kitchen staff was super nice! Beautiful aesthetics as well as a very safe and ideal central location.

United StatesThe included breakfast was underwhelming—just fruit, yogurt, and a drink (coffee or tea), with no hot options, not even something simple like eggs and toast. I didn’t have any expectations, but I still expected a bit more from a 4- or 5-star hotel.
The room was spacious, spotless, and bathed in beautiful natural light from the large windows. I loved the sleek, modern interior design. The hotel itself is stunning— blending historic charm with contemporary style, from its exterior to the common areas. The location was perfect, just steps from the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood. Most of the staff were warm and helpful.

CanadaA few tips for future guests - The hair dryer in the room is very weak, almost useless. Bring your own if you plan on blow drying your hair. The Breakfast on the rooftop is lovely, however very light - fruits, toast and coffee or juice. If you’re wanting something more filling they do have menu options. The food was delicious but is an extra cost. Overall these were minor, and did not impact the enjoyment of our stay :)
Hotel Maison Mexico was beautiful, exactly like the photos. The hotel was very clean, and the hotel bed was so so cozy! AC in the room made us very comfortable during our stay. The service and staff were wonderful. They accommodated us with an early check in, and promptly addressed our requests throughout our stay. Alberto specifically went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay! Thank you Alberto!

FranceA couple of bothersome things based on a high price point @400usd per night. There is a coffee machine in the room but it makes poor quality coffee. There is no hair conditioner in the bathroom. The breakfast is in a nice rooftop but you get a coffee, small bit of fruit, juice and 1 piece if toasted. Again at this price point you would expect different sorts of bread or eggs or something else.
It is a beautiful modern hotel in a colonial building- very handsome mix of historic architecture and modern touch. It is in a neighborhood with tons of restaurants and bars and pretty close to some major sites. The rooms are nice and big.

United StatesRoom was so small. No place to open suitcases. No desk to work at. Mini fridge under desk so you couldn’t sit there. Lobby was not set up for hanging out or working either. Breakfast was included but was super skimpy. We went there 2 of the 6 days we were there. Freezing cold on the roof for a slice of toast and 1/4 cup of yogurt.
Staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Bartenders Allen and Isaac were great. Front desk and servers and housekeeping very friendly. The design is very beautiful.

CanadaUnfortunately, our 23 year old daughter was locked out of the hotel at 3AM and had to wait an hour for someone to come let her in. If you plan to go out at late at night make sure to let the hotel know in advance. Maybe that would have helped alert them.

United KingdomThe lighting in the room was terrible. Very dark and not enough lights, even with all the lights on, you couldn't read a book or magazine on the bed. Lighting is very much style over function. The bathroom was good, but the toilet is visible from the bed and has no privacy. Very weird.
The hotel was well located in Roma, and walking distance to many of the restaurants and bars in the area. The bed was extremely comfortable.

United StatesSmall things - the noise from the street at night was loud, there was no door to the bathroom, and the comforter on the bed was way too heavy and when I asked for blankets (to use instead of the comforter) they brought me just a sheet.
The property was beautiful, with spacious, comfortable, clean rooms. The staff were also amazing. The restaurants onsite were incredible. The location was also very convenient with many wonderful restaurants and parks within walking distance.

ItalyJust nitpicking, but from a 5* hotel you expect near perfection: - both our rooms had only one set of towels each, so we had to call reception for the missing one - both rooms were missing robes and slippers, which we asked together with the towels: slippers arrived the next day with housekeeping, but still no robes for our whole stay - ventilation in the bathroom is almost too efficient: which means no condensation on the mirrors but also a sharp cold air right when exiting the shower - lighting in the rooms is extremely tasteful but leaves the area in front of the sofa/bench dark, which makes packing up a bit difficult at night - parquet floor in one room was lifted up (probably by humidity) right in the middle and we stumbled a couple of times during the night
Hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of Roma district. Hotel is brand new, with an outstanding modern design and a breathtaking view from the rooftop bar/terrace. Rooms are huge, with a small but cozy balcony and big tv. Bath shampoo and soap are very high quality and super fragrant. Beds are big and really comfortable. Breakfast is offered in the ground level or in the rooftop (exactly the same menu) so we opted for the rooftop with the amazing view. It is not included but it is very good and extremely reasonably priced (150-180MXN per person). I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

United StatesThere were some strange things with the guest rooms. Bedside lighting was only available from one side of the bed, shower glass panel was two small and water was always on the bathroom main floor, no soap dish. The bedding was too heavy and hot. There wasn’t a consistent maid cleaning service.

New hotel, just 1 month existing. Stayed 1 week here. Extremely clean and neat with staff that goes beyond to make you have a great stay. This place also counts with a speak easy apart from its 2 restaurants. It's located perfectly and you are within walking distance to every thing. As it's very new I would advise to collaborate with contemporary artist to make rooms more "eye candy" + have more ambient music / live music in bar at entrance. It's a beautiful place and it has yet not reached its fully potential in my view, therefore a 9 instead of a 10.
