The rooms are rather small compared to similar options in PV at this price point considering it’s not on the beach. It would be nice if they had a gym.

Modern hotel with beautiful roof top pool, bar and lobby. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Fun Sunday pool party vibe with DJ. Rooms were comfortable and a good view of the beach from the upper floors. Lots of thoughtful design elements for the rooms. The lobby restaurant had a solid menu and room service.

Portion sizes at the drag brunch. Brunch to me implies a buffet. This is not the case, you can order from a set menu. Construction next door.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed during the slow season so we were able to use the facilities almost privately - however, I imagine that during high season this might not be the case. This is a boutique hotel that is equipped with a restaurant and two swimming pools (however, these are small in size).

People, place and vibe. So cool. Good was excellent.

Attention to detail. Water bottles as gift and purified water dispensers on each floor. Loved the open to outdoors shower. Will return.

The hotel has a lot of hard surfaces and there was construction going on during my stay. Therefore, there was a lot of noise particularly during the day and the construction workers work on the weekend too. They could use some sound absorption panels or paint in the hotel. If you want to sleep during the day, it's basically impossible. When I stayed there in November there was a lot of construction which caused a similar problem. They're building another building right now and the construction will probably be going on for another year.

I liked my room and the view from my room. I loved the pool area on the 8th floor. The location is right in the middle of the Zona Romantica.

From the welcome drink at check in, the adorable and kind staff, the hotel aesthetics and attention to detail, the rooms, and the pool area - this hotel is luxurious! The Tryst has done an amazing job at elevating the LGBTQ experience in PV. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in PV. The octopus tacos at the restaurant alone would bring me back! ALSO - I loved the fact that they gift you with a water bottle in the room and there is a water fountain in every hall to refill it. Love when hotels are sustainability-conscious.

I didn't like the one functioning elevator. The A/C was pretty weak. I didn't like how we didn't feel secure because our room was on the 2nd floor right by the stairs - anybody can just walk through the main hotel entrance, climb up the stairs and to our room.

I couldbhear the doors slamming and people on my floor day and night. Too noisy. Also the curtains allowed a lot of light come in. The room was too bright even with the curtains shutdown.

Construction noise and staff talking in the hallways was very annoying.

Staff was so accommodating and friendly. Jose Luis went out of his way to take care of our issue with the noise. He was most gracious in making up for the inconvenience we experienced.

Due to the central location, you should expect to hear the sounds of the vibrant area during the day and into the early evening. For me, this was not too annoying and added to the experience of Zona Romantica.

While this property may still be a work in progress ie: finishing up construction, the hotel, rooms staff and location are exceptional. I can't wait to return.

Nothing - perfect experience. I read a lot of reviews about construction noise, which there is to a degree, but it’s manageable and almost finished. Definitely would not let that be a deterrent.

Staff was extremely welcoming and even remembered my name throughout my stay. Checked in often and made sure everything was well taken care of.
