Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere was no ac ventilation in the buffet hall. Too hot inside, it was hard to enjoy our meal, and it grades down the food quality. Everything was warm. Even cold served foods are very warm, which creates some flies in most food serving areas

AustraliaThe food and drink could have been better. Also, it would have been better to know more about the food arrangements before arriving. The actual a la carte restaurants were very good (we ate at Hacienda Mexican and Miramare Italian). The problem was that when we checked in (for 7 days), we could only get bookings at these restaurants on the last two nights of our stay. It would have been good to have known this and logged into the app before we arrived to book more restaurants. The Terraza wasn't bad, but it was very much cafeteria style. In the morning, this was great for breakfast, with lots of selection and a nice omelette station and eggs cooked to order. For dinner, the selection was quite varied, but the food just wasn't as nice. It was not poor quality, but just had been sitting there too long. A lot of it was probably fine when they put it out, but the quality declined substantially as it had been sitting there. They did have a very nice bbq and paella on the pool deck on the weekends for lunch - something like that everyday for lunch would have gone a long way to improving things. Drinks were good and bartenders were great. Could up the quality of the alcolhol and drop some of the sugar and soft drink added to a lot of the drinks. Maybe an option could be having a higher end drinks package offered where you could pay a bit extra to get a better quality of spirit/wine/beer?
The location is beautiful. We had wonderful rooms where we could walk right out and were almost on the beach and very near to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and is definitely the top thing about the resort.

United StatesAll was good and above here. Didn’t really not like anything.
The beach is an excellent and well taken care and very clean. The buffet is actually better than some of the restarants. Coffee cafe is extremely good with excellent pastries and great service. This beach is hard to beat in Cancun only down side is no fish for snorkeling except very early and way out.

United StatesThe internet in the bedrooms sucked. The reservations for other restaurants than the buffet were confusing. Though, I think the most disturbing thing was that the dining area, with all the food lying there openly, including fruits, meats, and cheeses, was NOT airconditioned. First, this made it a less pleasant dining experience: hot and sweaty while eating. And second, my wife and I both got sick from the food, like insane diarrhea, that prevented us from enjoying the buffets or the flight back during the last 2.5 days. Felt like a waste of money at the end. I am convinced that it could have been prevented, or at least reduced, by having airco in the dining area, in a tropical climate where bacteria run rampant and cause food to go bad faster. This is the one thing that makes us nervous to ever come back. I never wanna be sick like that again, or pay $350 pp. for a hotel with buffets and only feel like I can eat some dry bread.
I liked a lot of things: The food was delicious. The beach and the drinks and the shows were all amazing. It felt like a luxurious paradise. The room was well airconditioned, and the TV was nice.

United StatesThe restrooms were few and far between. the key cards kept getting erased if they got too close to your phone so we spent a ridiculous amount of time getting rekeyed into our room.
Beautiful grounds that give it that lush, tropical feel we were looking for. Rooms were adequate for sure, and very clean though not super nice - fair amount of chipped paint and balcony sliding door was really hard to move.

United StatesRooms could offer more luxury and more comfortable beds. I would like to have had room service options especially coffee delivery to the room. Very hard to book specialty dining so I would have liked more dining options other than the buffet.

Second room had a dirty hat and a leftover sandwich in the fridge. Beds and pillows Very hard. Pool closed early evening. Spa in pool area wasn't heated and also closed very early.

United StatesThe food is not the best. Be aware, it’s all you can eat but ONLY the buffet they serve everyday. Not the best food, but okay for the money you’re spending. You only get 3 reservations from the fine-dining restaurants and you have to book them, reserve, whenever THEY have availability. They don’t open everyday. But it makes sense. You can see they’re understaff on the service staff.
Overall the experience is nice. We were lucky we got one of the best room with the ocean view (and literally, the ocean in front of the balcony.) Also noticed our room was one of the fews that were remodeled. The staff deserves all of the ratings. Customer experience is the best. Servers: Antonio, Isaac, Darinel, and all the servers from the restaurants! The entertainers and dancers are MARAVILLOSO! Shouout to the Venezuelan dancer, he is the best Dancer and Zumba Instructor.

RussiaMy room was very humid and had a weird smell because of this. Even the bedding was humid all the time. I was unable to regulate the room temperature with a thermostat and had to call for a technician. The pillows were stiff. Some food in the buffet was good, but personally, I feel like it's possible to cook something much better given the same ingredients.

United StatesThe food was the worst I’ve ever had at a resort, the reviews continuously mention it you would think a large chain like Wyndham would of done something about it by now. But it truly is terrible. It makes the all inclusive package not worth it at all. Literally left the property to go eat or skipped meals all together.
