We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

VietnamThe ventilation system in the bathroom didn't work so the ceiling was covered in black mould . The shower was terrible . It's a shame because this clearly was a very nice hotel in its prime 40 years or so ago. Needs alot of investment in the rooms.
The pool was nice and deep, and the roof top bar had great views and great shisha. Room was a decent size and I found the beds actually quite comfortable but I like a firm mattress.

We have to give the location a 10. Its amazing. One could walk (if you wish so) to many eateries, clubs, shops etc . There are parking for in house guests. The roof top bar and restaurant is an advantage.

MalaysiaThe hotel is old and need upgrade. Although it is a non-smoking room, but there was odor residue from cigarette in the room. The bath towel is thin and old, and the bedding sheet appears pinkish. The bathroom amenities is fairly okay but could be better.
Stayed in this hotel for a training course held in the same location and picked this hotel for convenience purpose. It is strategically located in the heart of the Penang Island and it is a 5 - 10 minute walking distance to love lane and chulia street food. As for the other part of the stay, it is fairly okay for the price paid.

Malaysiathe carpet has not been shampooed for a while. They could do better or convert it to no carpet style. The lighting was a bit dim. could use more lights. The bathroom was a little old fashioned although I am okay with it.
it was in the middle of town, centrally located. The revolving restaurant was open. Breakfast was good. Generally the staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the stay. they provide good WiFi.

CanadaNote that unlike other Penang hotels they add about 25% (4+ additional charges) to Booking.com charges. Also, once in, everything is chargeable. To make 1 local phone call involves registration process, deposit and then per call charging.
Very nice hotel in central location. Just as nice as when i stayed 30 years ago.

It is in the centre of the city so very good on that, the view is also nice. Would come back next time if plannkng to go penang.
