I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel to everyone. It is situated in a peaceful and charming area of Central, with helpful staff. When I booked a mixed dormitory with four guys and was the only girl, they upgraded me to a four-bed room dormitory with all girls, which was extremely thoughtful. Additionally, they offer bike rentals for 10 MYR from check-in to check-out, which I loved.

If you are sensitive to noise and wish to go to bed early the double room we stayed in backed onto the road, where trishaws and their music went past periodically. This wasn't a problem for us, and we found it part of the charm of being in the old town.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Aircon and fan were very good. Towels, drinking water and toiletries were a nice touch. We got our washing done, this was quick (same day) reasonably priced and even delivered to the room. Very good hostel in a central location

I had an amazing stay at ola hostel. Sam is an amazing host, I could leave my backpack there while I went on a two days trip to Singapore. The place is really clean and the location is just perfect. I highly recommend this hostel !

Lovely hostel well located…the owner is a great guy from the first day I mentioned I wanted to go a night market and he told me where it was for that evening (they change depending day of the week) then also asked some other guest if they’d like to go and saved the breaking of the ice with other guest Facilities where clean and loved the layout with a courtyard in the middle of all rooms which makes a cosy and sociable atmosphere Met some great people here

I spent a week at the hostel, staying in one of the rooms with a shared bathroom, and I absolutely loved the place. It's incredibly clean, and the warm welcome made me feel at home right away. The hostel has a lot of charm, and its location couldn't be better – right in the center but tucked away in a quiet, character-filled alley. I'll definitely come back without hesitation.

Exceptional location - very close to the Jonker street but without all the noise from it. Very clean and well thought hostel. Nice level of privacy in the dorms.
