Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our stove didn't work well from time to time.
Our studio apartment was on the 27th floor. We had a great view of the skyline from the balcony and in the gym on top you can also see the sunset - no need to go to expensive roof top bars. Room was clean and very comfortable. Bed was big and cozy.

Was close to the metro line and walking distance to the Petronas Towers, KL Hop on and off bus and other points of interest in the KLLC / Bukit Bintang. The room was decent, a comfy bed, spacious and great value for money.

It looked like there may have been some previous water damage in the suite. Some parts need to be remodeled. The property is in a good location, but access to public transportation was a little longer or more complicated than noted on booking.com . It was at least a 10 minute walk across major highways to get to bus, monorail, or subway rail station, which is not convenient in the rain. Taxis wanted to charge extra to take us back to the hotel because of the one way streets around the property.
It was a large studio suite. It was very clean and the air conditioner worked really well to keep it cool. It had everything we needed. The building has a small grocery store to buy food and drinks.

The card wasn't working properly and we had a hard time buzzing ourselves in, the tower is huge and packed with people and sometimes the smell of smoke or food from other apartments will stay in the lobby.
The location is good, its near everything, But Hubby and I wished it was in the city center but that's my fault because I didn't do my research properly. Once you're there just go to reception, they will give you the key, we arrived late at night and it was easy and fast, the apartment was clean and had a good view at night, there are 2 supermarkets in the tower which will have almost everything you need but they both close at 12 so be prepared before like if you need water, food or snacks. They provide towels, laundry soap and dishwashing soap, you'll find everything from plates to pots and there is a TV with Netflix on it, the bedroom was big and the beds were comfy!

There was only 1 mug. Still a 10/10 property.
The property was in a very good location - 15 minute walk to the towers. It was clean, had all the facilities you would need (fridge, freezer, tv with netflix and youtube, comfy bed, balcony, cooker, microwave, utensils, washing machine). Check in easy and quick. Wifi speed very good. There’s a pool and a gym too.

Everything was great. Only thing is there was only one coffee cup in the kitchen, but not a big deal.
Good location - walking distance to KL Tower and Petronas Towers (10-15min walk) and about 20 minute walk to Jalan Alor Food Street. Clean and comfortable apartment that had everything you need: air conditioning, comfortable bed, iron, hairdryer, hot water and shampoo and shower gel. The building had a gym and pool on the 11th floor and 2 grocery stores on the ground level which was really convenient. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend!

This time we were on level 17. Road noise was much worse than our previous stay on level 28.
This was our second stay. The check in process was simple. The building has 2x convenience stores, a restaurant, currency exchange, and a beauty salon. TV with Netflix was convenient. The WiFi was strong and stable. It was really handy having a kitchen, washer/drier, etc.

Bathroom was a bit run down. No coffee mugs (but they had drinking glasses and other dishes).
Location, view from the room. Laundry facilities in the room. Good TV. Comfortable bed. Nice pool. Good room size. Nice furniture.
