    1. No water dispenser provided. Or at least filtered pipe water flow. We have to stock up on mineral water from the town which is a long distance away 2. The bungalow is located very deep inside Mesilau and the roads leading to the property is gravel road. 3. Open concepts of bathroom. Not user friendly. 4. Outside bathroom was spoilt and still under repair during our visit; which in my opinion should be compensated by the owner in terms of cost. As I believe I should be getting what I’m paying for.

Beautiful, serene and quiet. Amazing view of Mt K in the mornings. Beautiful landscape surrounding the bungalow too. Bungalow was well equipped with all kitchen utensils. Many many pillows available. Staffs were reachable at all times too.

The property needs a bit of work, considering there are often children around; the bathroom sink in the master bedroom en-suite had a broken drain cover and was sharp. If the children like to play water whilst washing their hands, they could cut their hands.

To have the host waiting for you at the property is a great feeling, to make you feel welcome, as well as it is always good to know what the host looks like, so that you won’t get weird people trying to con you into believing that they are the host, which could be dangerous.

Internet was very slow n hard to access data. The homestead was not very clean. We saw some cockroaches. The water pump Was very noisy and keeps operating at night . Can’t open windows n ventilation poor.

Great views n pleasant surroundings. Well equipped kitchen. Well maintained garden.

Although the area is safe, the improperly constructed road leading to it is inconvenient. However, we would prefer to have a proper lock for the house instead of just a sliding door lock.

It has a great view of Mount Kinabalu, and the whole environment is very relaxing and chill. However, access to the unit is a bit troublesome due to an improperly constructed road leading to the area.

The road to the property was a bit rough since it breaks off from the main road onto a gravel road, still manageable in a normal car. I wish the property provided some basics like salt & pepper for simple cooking though.

The location was good and the view was unbeatable. The beds were comfortable and we felt at home, it was a great stay after a long day of hiking in Poring. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, utensils and serveware.

    1. The sauna in the big tub was not working which was sooo disappointing for me and my family. My kids were looking forward to use it with their bath bombs. 2. Cleanliness for the villa both inside and outside could be further improved. 3. There steps on the stairs and floors were mouldy which caused me to slip. Luckily no injury. Pls clean up on this to prevent others from slipping, which could be dangerous if someone got injured due to this. 4. The road condition to the villa is not so good but bearable.

We like the villa living room. It has very nice view, and we can see the mountain. My family, especially my parents also liked the little garden around the villa, the flowers were very nice. It was good that standing fans were provided. The big dustbin with cover is good. The cups & utensils were pretty. Microwave is available. Handsoaps & towels were provided.

We had to make sure tt all our windows were closed and some difficulty with locking up the windows too. I personally did not like the idea of toilets with no doors. I was not aware of that till we reach the villa. Only master bedroom has a toilet door.

Raflie was clear and fast in his response to me via Whatsapp. We gave an estimated arrival time but was delayed. He was accommodating and was there to receive us when we reached the villa. There was ample seating space in the living room. We could sit together at the ktichen island to have our meals. During the day, we have a good view outside as villa is glass-covered floor to ceiling. Love the sunrise view from the master bedroom too.

Needs to be refreshed. Frequent black out. Non existent wifi. TV that does not have anything working. Jacuzzi stopper not working. Lots of candle holders no candles. Outdoor patio- some wood are rotting already. The cafe there ran out of food. Bring your own dinner or drive out 15-20 mins in the night.

All the way to kundasang is not well maintained, the road is bad and without good signate. Lack of interesting activities, only some outdated points for photo taking, kind of boring. Most of the homestay are not well maintained. Hope the government will improve the overall atmospheres to attract tourists

A couple of things 1) the heater system was not the best. You might not get a consistent stream of hot water especially if everyone is taking shower at same time. The staff mentioned water source was from the mountains.. annoying but bearable 2) the assess road to the location was quite bad, make sure your vehicle isn't the low type or with elaborate skirting, else you are going to scratch it

Overall the house was clean and very nicely furnished with many seating sofas. The kitchen equipment was also very nice and complete. BBQ pit was included and there were 3 sets of tables/benches outdoors with 2 basket swings which was great since I had party of 9. The beds were a bit soft but still comfortable and I liked the many pillows provided Blanket was also comfortable. Each of the 3 rooms had their own bathrooms and there was a fourth which can be shared.

    1. Staff car alarm went off at wee hours of the morning about 230am till almost sun rise. all of us did not have a good sleep. apparently cafe staff heard the car alarm but was not proactive to check on it. the noise was irritating & annoying. 2. only 2-1 soap shampoo was provided. other basic toiletries such as toothbrush & toothpaste were not provided. we had to drive down a distance to buy some. tissue paper was not provided too. when asked, staff said that we did not request for it. unbelievable that we had to request for such things. even in a 3 star hotel, there is always basic necessities such as tissue, tooth brush & toothpaste. it’s a pity because the villa is nicely decorated but it falls short due to the lack of basic toiletries. 3. only 1 stove is working well 4. lots of flies but was told it’s the season. there were 2 cockroaches roaming in the living room area

location as it is right in front of mt Kinabalu

Owner was not responsive at all and relied on care taker who couldn't explained why things are not provided as listed (no toiletries except shower gel, no sofa beds) or broken (1 toilet under renovation for very long time per previous reviews, hot tub broken/leaking also per previous reviews). The toilets were smelly though clean, sliding door can't shut fully with cold air coming in at night, no fans all at with lots of flies. We brought swimsuit to enjoy hot tub but couldn't and didn't bring toiletries but found none given despite listed in full. It is too pricey and we later found the other lodgings next door is cheaper with similar layout.

    The view was excellent
