Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was nothing i could complain about
Such friendly staff everywhere from reception, accommodation ane restaurant.Room was spacious and clean. Location just a short bus/tram away from centre.

Modern, clean and comfortable apartment, close to public transportation and not far from the city center. It takes about 15 mins from the airport by car, 30mins to get to the city center by public transportation,15 mins to get to the city center by bike. It is located in a quiet and residential area, but you can find some restaurants at walking distance. For our needs position was perfect, as we moved around by bikes. Staff very nice. Delicious an rich breakfast.

location was kinda scatchy but with lots of public transportation to get the the city center and close to the airport so all good.
first and most importantly, the staff were very welcoming and warm. second, the appartment was clean, modernly designed and specious. great value for money

The room size was adequate for 5 but limited privacy for sleeping.
Staff were very helpful. Transit was close by, easily accessible and a direct line into downtown Amsterdam. The hotel restaurant had reasonable prices for breakfast. The room was clean and beds very comfortable.

the light in the room can be separete with the dining and bedroom, as kids will sleep early than adult.

We tried to use the oven and it would not work. Nobody on reception knew how to use it. Manager came and looked and could not get it to work. We had to waste food as we couldn’t use it. We paid for the birthday package and it wasn’t good value for money a banner and a few balloons was the total of the decorations.
Ease your get into Amsterdam and staff in bar and reception were really good and friendly. Comfortable apartment.

The building is located a bit far from the city center, but its proximity to the highway made it convenient for travel, and the thick windows ensured that no traffic noise was heard inside.
I had a very positive stay at Cityden Bolo District Apartments. The staff was proactive and informed me about an air conditioning issue before check-in, offering an alternative room – which I really appreciated. The apartment itself was comfortable, with a great bed and a well-equipped kitchen. I also liked the possibility to rent a bike and the convenient parking nearby. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience.

The bedrooms didn’t have any doors so there was no privacy.
The location was great but what made our stay great was the staff. They were super friendly and very accommodating.

The place isn't as close to the center as other areas with similar prices, but it was still worth it. It's a bit too strict about smoking (there's a rule you can't even stay close to the front). Can be occasionally a bit too pricey (they charge for adapters!) but tolerable.
The place is beautiful with a gorgeous little park right in front of it. The room is clean, has plenty of space and is very comfortable. The team did an excellent job with everything and the bar/café at the entrance are pleasant, with good options.

The layout of the apartment was unusual. If we wanted the lights on in the living area or kitchen, the lights went on throughout the hallway and first set of beds too. So when the kids slept, we could only use the very dim lamp or the light from the tv. Was not able to cook at night without using the flashlight in my phone.
Lovely staff, plenty of room for family of 5.

There are no doors on the bedrooms - the two bedroom apartment that I booked was completely open plan - two double beds and a sofa bed in one room! More like a dorm than an apartment!
Lovely decor, very clean, well equipped with good transport links. It was a bargain for Amsterdam too! And the glass balcony was amazing!

It isn’t located inner city, however good location to walk around and easy public transport.

They are requesting 300€ as preauthorization which is the most expensive amount paid ever through my frequent traveling in addition to that they did not refund rapidly as they took, they told me that it will be refunded after one week, this means that my money will remain suspended for one week more, which is not accepted
