Managed to get my fingers stuck between the handle and the door frame of the sliding door at least once a day :-\

There is an "exchange" for food/drinks that people don't want to take home after there stay. The center is in walking distance. We were able to rent 3 bikes on the property, then exchange two for a tandem at the Kiewiet near the harbour. Try to make reservations for restaurants in Nes, they tend to fill up.

Again, we had a perfect stay at De Berkenhof. If I would need to mention anything to improve it would be the toilet brush, that was broken. But it did it’s job anyway and it was no big deal for us.

A beautiful and cozy apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A kitchen with all the appliances/tools/dishes for cooking, a comfortable bathroom, a large room with a smart TV (finally, which supports connecting to a phone via WiFi), and there is a spacious balcony where you can sit. Friendly staff who checked us in a little early with no problems or questions at all. The location is convenient, a 15-minute walk to the sea, there are many establishments nearby. Definitely recommend.

The property doesn't have electric vehicle charging point, and the property across them have it, but its reserved for their guests. They were kind to allow us to charge our vehicle, but I feel all properties should now have an electrical charging point.

The location is amazing, the rooms are very cosy. The beds are too soft for my comfort, but they are good. The communication was very transparent, they also gave us an extra hour for checkout. The people at reception were super helpful and friendly.

Lovely apartment, it had everything what’s needed for short or longer stay, fully equipped for longer vacation too. 10 minutes walk from the beach and amazing breakfast!

Could be cleaner, hair and dust everywhere, many lime spots in the bathroom, blinds broken. Basically not too bad, but the price-performance ratio is not right. Quite expensive for an apartment without breakfast. For the same price I took a hotel one day later with breakfast and pool included.

As a couple the two single beds with single linnen werent optimal. We were in the "older" building which is renovated but in a cheap way. The ceiling feels like you're in an office, overall it didn't feel it was done with love but in a rather cheap way.

The location and the easy acces. The areas where you need hygiene were very clean.

Dear All, unfortunately we were not satisfy with our room. This is a very old building and in a very bad condition. There were holes in the floor at the door to the garden, holes in the ceiling in the bedroom, no air condition, no window in the small bedroom. The room was direct to the street. As it was always hot in the room and traffic noise during the day it was not possible to use the room during the day. Therefore we will not come again and for sure not recommend these appartments.
