Pre-warning about the amount of stairs, 300EUR deposit (If you read the reviews you'll know in advance)

Communication with the hotel was excellent responded quickly. Apartment was 15 mins away from the city centre and short walks to some local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The apartment held 5 of us and we all slept comfortably. First floor consisted of the bathroom and mater bedroom, second floor was an open planned living kitchen space with 2 bedrooms that slept 4 comfortably.

Tv didn't work. The bathroom wasn't very clean with lots of other people's hair. Toilet seat broken

the stairs were a bit of a negative as we had to haul our luggage to the penthouse. no lifts!!

we enjoyed Amsterdam, the location of the apartment is right next to the tram line which takes you everywhere you want to go. very close to nice cafès and restaurants, and a really chilled out feel to the area close to the University. away enough from the hustle and bustle of the day trips around the tourist attractions, but close enough to easily travel to them in 10 mins on the tram

No Communication about cable or WiFi fixes

Hallways were dirty. Cable didn’t work in apartment and wasn’t fixed after notifying the staff. Weak WiFi.

The TV was near useless. A newer TV with online features for music and streaming would have been great. 2 bedrooms with 4 of the beds in are tiny and not easily used. The stairs are very steep and long. It was quite tiring for some members to get to the room. No hot water on arrival.

One bedroom was large and comfortable. The living room/kitchen was spacious and had nearly everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and responsive.

You don't get the key on the spot. You have to make a 300€ security deposit when you arrive. And should give it back. They never answer the phone. said they would give us back 10% refund for the tv not worked, but never did.

I didn’t like the toilet seat! It was kind of broken. Everytime id go on the toilet I’d slip everytime and catch my skin which was painful. I hoped they provided extra towels especially since it was a 4day stay. I didn’t like that you couldn’t smoke so I would have to go outside in the freezing cold to do so which isn’t ideal.

The property is spacious. They had a hair dryer, heating and kitchen cutlery, pans, plates, etc which was great. Not too far from central.

The heater wasn’t working properly, and there are a lot of stairs, for us the stairs weren’t that big of a problem just saying it for consideration.

The wifi was intermittent and poor at times. Weak signal for the TV so was unavailable but wasn’t a problem for us.

The location suited us perfectly as not in the main centre. Apartment was spacious and beds very comfortable.

Only negative was the television didn't work, it took a couple of days before this was sorted.

The staff were welcoming, apartment was clean, didn't take long to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Overall a positive experience.

The stairs are very steep, but we read the reviews so knew exactly what to expect. There's also a short walk to the apartments. We only had hand luggage so it was no problem for us. This would have been an issue if we had larger bags.

The location is great and staff were very helpful. The apartment is small, but it's very central. Don't expect loads of space! We were a family of 4 (2 young kids). Our particular apartment would NOT have suited 4 adults, but it suited us fine. I would advise that you read the previous reviews so you know what to expect regarding the stairs & the short walk to the apartment.

The appartments are located in a large multistorey house with other visitors whose movements and chatter you could hear on the neighbouring stairs.

Beds were comfortable in a good sized room. The staff responded quickly to an issue we had with the shower.

We didnt get the apartement we booked, there were no soundproofing at all - we booked a room on the top floor, we got a ground floor one. It was a quiet street, but when someone walked next to the window, we could hear them like they were inside the room. The street was quiet, but there was a construction with loud machines, and sometimes shouting in the middle of the night on the street. Also, there was a pipeline in the room and every single time someone was using the shower or the bathroom in the whole building I think, water was flowing loud. Also, one time we couldnt get into the apartment, as the keycards didnt open the door, so we had to walk to the reception desk 10 min away, and back, which doesn't sound a lot, but after a full day of walking with big backpacks, in the night and very tired/hungry was bad.

Location was great. Neighbourhood was quiet. Room was spacious.

I had to pick up the keys from a hotel reception 10 minutes away from the apartment. The stairs are very steep so if you have a luggage it can be a struggle to get up. What I also did not like was the 300 euro deposit fee + tourist fee (even if you are a Dutch citizen).

The apartment is clean and has a kitchen too. The staff at the hotel was helpful. Privacy was good too

Picking up keys from a reception not at the site of the property was a slight hassle. No A/C and it was a very hot weekend, so the place was very hot inside. Upstairs windows opened to cool it down, but the downstairs bedroom window was broken so it didn't open properly.

The area was nice as it was just little bit out from the busy city centre. The place was nice and open plan with a good living space.

It was a fair walk between the pickup of keys at the Allure Hotel and the actual apartment location on the Plantages Muidergracht, THEN 35 very narrow steps up to the 2nd floor (3rd floor, by U.S. standards) It was very warm and the two fans provided did help but bedroom window couldn't be opened. Mosquitos were a problem and there are no screens. Frying pans were badly scratched and no spatula was provided. TV didn't work due to lack of signal--why have one, just for show? Noise level was terrible due to activity and loud conversation in adjacent apartment DAY AND NIGHT (also from courtyard area below). The last day they finally checked out, so I had one day/night of quiet. There needs to be a place to put toiletries while showering, and hooks for towels would be helpful.

Apartment was light and bright with good functioning appliances, pans of stainless steel were appreciated. Bed was basically comfortable but accessibility was an issue, due to small room size allowing narrow access only from one side of the bed.

It does sleep 6 people but only has 4 beds so it doesn’t sleep 6 single people, this property would be perfect for a family but not 6 friends

Beautiful area just 10/15 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything that is needed if in a party of 3 or 4.
