We stayed in cabin no.1, which was closest to the lake (it was next to the laundry, but no noise from there- also next to the 2 slow chargers, which was handy for us to fully charge our car overnight). Great variety of canoes, kayaks, pedalos and rowing boats to use. Lovely hike directly from the campsite and also within a short drive.

The only downside was the lack of privacy on the balconies. They’re built in a way that you can see directly into your neighbors’ space and vice versa, which made it feel a bit exposed.

We stayed in one of the cabins and had a wonderful time. The cabin was spotless and well-maintained, and the site itself offers fantastic facilities for families. Our kids loved the large playground, and the free boat rental was a great bonus. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Perfect for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Another highlight was the morning bread which you can order. Lots of fresh options to choose from, including gluten free, which was a big plus for us.

The beds were okay and some rooms were too small. Property location and facilities are very good but would suggest if they could provide fans, that would really help as it becomes too hot in the night.

We stayed in a cabin which was in decent shape with a renovated washroom/toilet. Kitchen requirements are all there. Location is great, nice views all around. The option to use a kayak, canoe or other water equipment free of charge is great!

Amazing location between two lakes. We rented one of the cabins, it was well-equipped and comfortable, with a stunning view on the glaciers. The camping is very well managed, has a family touch and you feel at home. Especially recommended for families, the kids can have a lot fun with small canoes.

Beautifull place, everything in camping is perfect, owners have though about all needs of clients, there is corner for children, TV watching room, all facilities are perfect, outside teritorry with nice fire places and picnic room, reallay super camping. There was small misunderstanding with our booking and we got super upgrade - house on the hill with exelent view, big terrase and big, comfortable rooms. Great thanks!!! And there is possibilty to order for morning fresh baked bred , buns or rolls and they were supper tasty!!!

15 min away from Briksdal glacier. The ground and surroundings are beautiful. There are many great facilities, free kayak, boat, swing, playground etc. The shared shower is super clean.

There was no extractor fan in the toilet so as there was no window, just a small ventilation hole and it was right next to the kitchen area I found this to be a problem. In the second bedroom the area between the bed and the wall is extremely small so not suitable for larger people. This can however be seen in the photos they post on their site so no surprises there. I brought the extremely squeaky toilet door to their attention so hopefully that will be fixed for the next guests.

The amazing location with fjord and mountain views. We were in cabin 4. There were 2 bedrooms, one with a family bunk bed. 120cm wide below and 75cm above. The second bedroom has a bunk bed where both are 75cm wide. Toilet and sink. Shared shower close by. We took our own bed linen and towels otherwise that is extra. Otherwise all you need for a short stay.

Beautiful and well run place, the cabin was the coziest we've got in our vacations in Norway. Cleanliness is top-notch. Friendly and professional staff. Free kayak and rowing boat. Exceptional playground for kids.

The location was good as we checked in right after we visited Briksdal Glacier. It was around 10-15mins from there. The instructions during check in was clear and we could park our car right beside our cottage. There is a washer/dryer that is available to be use for 60NOK each. It was very comfortable and the area is very very pretty...

We had an amazing short stay at Oldavtn camping. Such an incredible location, welcoming staff and great cabin space with a perfect sized kitchen for us. Wish we could’ve stayed longer as there were so many great facilities, free kayaks, fire pits and bikes!
