Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaEverything was perfect.
The room was bigger than I expected, never before have I gotten so much space in a nice place, especially for such a low cost, this place had the most space. The water treatment aparatus was an excellent resource for drinking water so my water needs were strongly met. Everyone was very accomodating and I got along well with all of them and I had a perfect dedicated workspace to work on my computer.

CanadaHonestly nothing, the rooms, the property and the people were fantastic.
The rooms were clean, simple, and comfortable and had plenty of room to unpack your bags. The location was fantastic, nestled between the small local town and the jungle. Quiet, surrounded by nature and away from the pollution.

SpainNothing at all. It was a little bit cold this period of the year, but they always have a fire outside, so this gave us the opportunity to also spend some beautiful time chatting with them.
We had an unforgettable stay at Wild Planet Eco retreat. We enjoyed the place, the food and the company. We also booked three safaris with Baba and it was incredible! We have been really lucky to have them (they were two) as our guides. They are local and is incredible their knowledge of the place and the species therein, and also their passion for their work. Absolutely awesome! It has been a plesure to meet Baba and to spend this week with him, his family and friends and rest of the staff. We will never forget Tiger land.

United KingdomBaba and his brother Prakash went out of their way to help us and make us welcome, even phoning a tuktuk to collect us from the bus to get to and from their lodge. They really want everyone to feel at home. The location is perfect, set amongst green forest but only a couple of minutes walk from the river for sunset walks and very close to the village too. The rooms are traditionally built and absolutely beautiful. We did a jeep safari and although we didn't get lucky and see big animals we still loved it as the jungle in Bardia is spectacular.

PolandIt was a pleasure and an honor to stay at Wild Planet. Baba is an inspiring individual who besides many obstacles had strength and courage to follow his heart and share his true passion with visitors from all over the world. He guides them through the beauty of Bardyia National Park and together with his team, he makes sure your stay will be an experience you will never forget. Go stay at Baba's eco retreat, go to the reserve, ask him questions about the local area, Nepali culture, his experiences abroad. Enjoy delicious food, have a walk around the village, talk to the locals, play with the dogs and don't let the monkeys steal your food. Go, and if you really want to see a tiger, you will see it!

SpainIt was all fantastic!
What a fantastic stay! We loved being here! We spent our first two days with our host on a Jeep and walking safari! Baba is so knowleagble. We had nothing planned before we arrived just our bus ticket and room, and it was so nice, basic, but just what we like. This is the first ´eco´ hostel that we stayed in that does what it says here in Nepal. The staff are enthuastic about conservation of the wild life but this also reflects the culture at the hostel. We will be back1¡1

The staff warn very courteous and friendly. Everything we needed was there. The guides were very experienced. They were aware of the different sounds, signals, tracks and smells in the jungle and were super good at interpreting them. The camping trip into the jungle was unique.
