We recently stayed at the Mercure Resort with our family, and it was an experience to cherish! Although the resort is a bit away from town, the picturesque and serene location up the hill more than makes up for it. The breathtaking views and tranquil atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, offering a wonderful blend of comfort and nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Room was clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed.

Daily maintenance / cleaning can be better. No dusting in some corners of the room. After sightseeing we returned to found trash not cleaned from trash bins.

Room: Quite spacious with nice lake view. No room sleepers provided. Provided 2 toothbrushes after asking the reception for a family of 3.

The lift made such a terrible noise that we had to ask to change rooms. The staff went out of their way to find us a better room though which was really nice & very much appreciated.

We have to wait for our room to be available even though we arrived past the hotel's standard check-in time. It should be ready by the time a guest arrived, especially if hotel policy states can check-in at 2pm. But other than this everything is good. I just hope you can improve the check-in service. For the money we paid, we expected a little more. Quite a dated place. It seems the workmanship of the renovations in our bathroom was not the best. The spa outside is not covered, quite in the open,.

Our booking was stuffed up by the reception helped us out. Not quite the location if you don't have car. The views from the room of the lake is great but it over other housing.

Room was quite cold even with heating on. Lack of double glazing or well sealed windows left a lot of warm air out. Bathroom door was terrible, it is a glass sliding door which had a huge gap in it so you can see and hear everyone if someone is in there.

The room service left a lot to be desired. We came back to our room and it still looked messy. The beds weren't fully made up, the room service staff definitely rushed it. Same poor quality throughout our stay.

The location and the staff at the reception are very friendly. I liked the lake view from our room and the glasshouse restaurant downstairs was gorgeous despite how expensive the food was.

Only thing was the shower pressure. And yes the hotel is up a very steep hill but we just drove into town, easy as.

Our room was super clean, beds were comfy, lake view from our room was amazing. The spas outside were lovely, awesome Mountain View’s whilst relaxing in the warm spa. All staff we came in contact with were friendly and made you feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was lovely too.

You need a car in order to go to the city centre. There are only 2 cups and glasses in the room with 2 double beds.

The breakfast is quite good, the view from the room is stunning. The beds are comfortable. Many facilities in the hotel, including sauna and fitness room.
