The T.V. Had no reception, which the guy in the office knew about, but didn’t seem concerned. The shower head needs fixing; at least the water was hot.

It was clean. A good location. I had room 10 at the back, upstairs, so away from the road, so less traffic noise.

No water one morning due to a burst water pipe. Not much hot water the rest of our 5 day stay. Not enough for 3 people. Not sure what would happen if we were a bigger group. Could not figure out how to use the laundry room.

Great sized motel 3 bedrooms and all the facilities of a house. Beds super comfy with lovely linen. Good parking, easy to find and adequate car parks.

No dish cloth or tea towel for first night. Fridge not turned on for arrival. No plug for hand basin, Inside of bathroom door grubby Electric blanket not working, hand piece light on though.!! Office not manned at 3pm.??. Office not at all welcoming, scruffy signs etc.

Had to produce my credit card and drivers license for a photo to be taken of each, which made me incredibly uncomfortable as havent had to do this before. We had room 14, which was up a staircase shared with room 15, who had a note under their door about pending eviction. The person was up and down the stairs at least 10 times between midnight and 1am and opening and closing cupboards loudly clearly in the process of shifting. This was incredibly disruptive (as well as conversations in the stairwell that echoed in the room). If it wasn't for this disruption, I would have rated differently.

Short drive to Auckland city where we had an event to attend. Free onsite parking. Room was spacious. Included a fridge and kitchen area. Very short walk to KFC for a quick bite to eat.

There is only 1 small t.v in the dining/lounge area, and you could only get access to basic channels. The wifi didn't extend to our room, and we were directly opposite the office. The "playground" (if that's what you could call it) is literally 2 swings on a small patch of grass, and they looked rather unsafe. The pool and spa area was "out of order." The laundry area is not accessable overnight. The complimentary tea and coffee came with a couple of very small (roughly 5ml) pods of already mixed powdered milk. There were not enough towels available for 2 adults and 2 children to have their own. The lack of cooking utensils was a bit of a bummer. The staff were unorganised and were only focused on getting the payment for the room processed. You definitely did not feel like you were a valued guest at this place.

The accommodation was very affordable. I was really impressed by the size of the accommodation/room that i booked. It was the size of an average 2brm home, and it was very clean. There was a stove with an oven and a full sized fridge freezer in the kitchen. The small gated outside area at the entrance of the unit was great. It made me feel quite safe and secure while staying there.

Room servicing was weird. On day two my towel went missing. Was never replaced event though the bins were emptied. No top up of coffee or tea etc.

It was cheap so you get what you pay for.

The 5th bed was a fold out sofa, which would have been fine except that there was no linen for it except a pillow and a throw type blanket. When we rang, we got given a single bedsheet.

The staff were great, 4/5 of the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was good, check in was relatively easy and straight forward. The location was great.

Check in was rather difficult and there was no jug in the room and the fridge had frozen the milk they had in there so was rather difficult to make a hot drink in the morning , also the sensor lights turned on at four in the morning which lit up the room even with the curtains closed so that was pretty annoying

There was water damaged boards, there was no extractor fan in the kitchen no way of cooling the rooms down/warm them up. No extractor fan in bathroom either. Mould in bathroom tile grout. Beds had duvae inners as top blankets but no covers. Some light fittings & switches needed replacing. Table on the deck was broken. Locks on doors we thought were quite dodgy. Tv was extremely hard to use. Would have benefited from a guest book with near by cafes, taxi numbers places that they could recommend. The back of the facilities was untidy and there was rubbish lying around.

Bedroom layout, spacious easy to find. Staff were lovely.

I didn’t like that they took a picture of my debit card and they charged me a extra $200 for bond and when we went to check out no one was at reception to sort that the bond stuff out and when it will be refunded. No one was ever at reception for the 2 days we stayed there and you always had to call the number given. It is a bit outdated and old.

I didn't like the fake wooden floor in the bathroom and kitchen as it felt slippery under foot. I had ants on the kitchen bench. And the bathroom door and trim needs to be painted after it looks like it had to been fixed The tea was disgusting and there wasn't enough milk pods.

The lack of utensils....we had to call out for a can opener The shower head was not stable The compendium mentioned 2 rubbish bins - 1 for recyclables. Only one was available
