Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is electric kettle in the room, but no tea/coffee and no mugs.
Location close to motorway. Large comfortable rooms, clean, good WiFi. Excellent breakfast, restaurant opened 24/7, great value for the price.

Mains sockets were not well attached to the walls in our room, particularly alarmingly so (could see the wires) in the ensuite bathroom. The property is generally alright for a stop over for a night while journeying through Europe. In my opinion the quality to price ratio was NOT quite right. I would not give it more than 4 stars overall.
Nice welcoming host, who speaks good English. Our room had an ensuite bathroom. Shower water pressure was great. Would I advise it to prospective visitors? Yes, but expect a very basic no frills experience. On the bright side, the place was very quiet.

Its good place to stay BUT.......you have to order your food from the bar and when it finaly comes they shout in Polish language all across eating place about as if we understand anything in Polish language .I think they need to sort this food ordering issue by giving people order number etc.other than that no.complains.

Couldn't find a hairdryer in the room.
Value for money. Fantastic location near the boarder.Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the restaurant is fresh and tasty.

We didn't have a chair and fridge in the room this time. But it got sorted when we asked. So wasn't an issue.
Very convenient, just halfway for our trip. We have been staying here for the last 4 years, on the way there and back. Restoran open 24 hours and serve amaizing food and generous portions. Dogs are also welcome. Petrol station and shops are nearby. We will be coming back for sure .

Reception staff not speaking in English. But still understand what you are asking.

A bit old furniture. No hair dryer in the room (or it was very well hidden)
The Hotel Cargo is a surprisingly decent place for an overnight stay, especially if you're traveling to or from Poland. Don't let the name fool you, it's not just for lorry drivers. A major plus is the 24-hour restaurant, which is incredibly convenient for late-night or early-morning arrivals.

2 mattresses out of 4 beds a bit uncomfortable, no kettle in the room. Can't be asked to use a restaurant at 11pm for a cuppa.
Convenient place with 24h reception. Basic rooms but with separate beds. Good enough for a night or two.

No AC, which was a problem with high temperatures outside.
The room was nice and specious, it had big double bed, sofa, tv and mini fridge. Hotel has nice restaurant open 24/7, that is serving very nice food.

This is a very family friendly place with rooms they are small apartments (two bedrooms, bathroom and a toilet) so that up to two kids can sleep in one room and parents in the other, while the outside door can be locked for the night. It's very accessible from the highway but the direct surroundings aren't all that pretty. Don't get scared, it's not your holiday destination, it's a great stop on the way there! Parking is free and plenty
