Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were unlucky to have a room with a separate bathroom. Didn’t help having someone knock on our door during the night. I guess that’s a normal part of allowing stag parties to stay.
Great location. Very comfortable beds - good to have a topper on each bed. Rare to have 6 person rooms. So good to have such a place.

The only part we didn't like that the reception desk did not have someone there 24 hours like the other hostels we went to. For quite a while during the night someone was out in the hall/small communal area making a lot of noise and later on a group of people, and there was no one there to send them away or ask them to be quieter. So didn't have the best sleep but I'm sure it is not always like that.
This was our favorite hostel room of our trip, it has a good set up which was convenient for 5 people in a room. The building has lots of character and the rooms have great beds. The location is excellent, right in the old historic part of town very close to the main square and restaurants.

Maybe a kettle with some instant coffee would be a good idea.

The bedding can be a bit improved. Very small kitchen.
Very well located. 200m from the main Square. Extremely neat and clean. Easy check-in. Clean toilets. Microwave available for heating food. Kitchen cutleries and dishes available.

The staff was not very friendly, bordering on rude. It felt like they were doing us a favor by being there. The bedsheets had stains on them and there were hairs on the towels. The room in general was not very clean.
The best part about this property is its location - right in the heart of the old city. The room itself was ok, a bit dated but had everything we needed. We could leave our luggage before check-in.

Unfortunately, during my stay in this accommodation there we’re loads of children - probably for school travel - they were too loud late in the night and early in the morning. I couldn’t complain with the staff because I didn’t see nobody in the reception all the moments that I was in the place. To be honest, I was there few times during the working hours..

Only downside was the shower/wc was not in the room. It was dedicated to our room but next door. Clean and functional.
Staff very helpful when booking. Location was amazing, very close to centre of the old town. Accommodation clean but basic but superb value for somewhere to base from.

Although the beds were clean, comfortable, and uniquely designed, they are made of poor quality particle-board that is cracking and starting to fall apart. The floors were very squeaky near the door, which made it impossible to enter or leave the room without waking people up. Some of the rooms have adjoining bathrooms; ours was a private toilet and shower with a key, but it was not connected to the room. Not a huge deal, but just something people should know. I was pretty sure I checked the box for parking when I searched for this hotel, but there is no parking nearby, and it is not clear whether it is legal for anyone but taxis to drive on the Old City one way streets leading to the hotel. I did, because we had a lot of luggage and had no idea where to even temporarily park to check in, but it is possible (maybe likely?) that I was not supposed to drive there.
The location is exceptional for those looking to explore the old city. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

The room was a little small and there was no AC only a desk fan which wasn't sufficient for this time of year (June) The room was always uncomfortably warm resulting in poor night's sleep.
The staff and location was great. A small shop is a 2 min walk away, bar and club at the bottom of the hotel so there was always something to do. Being so close to the old town meant there were lots of options for food.

The personnel is very nice and helpful, very responsive. Even before the visit, they contacted me couple of times proposing support including airport transfer. The location is perfect, close to everything which you may want to see in Cracow. The room we took was for 6 people.
