Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaVery well located, just 5 minutes from the city center. Hotel is on the riverside and has a separate chill out area with a beautiful view. For only 20 PLN per person you can take a river boat tour, which I highly recommend. The breakfast is very good, with a wide range of food, from hot to cold. Despite the closeness to the road, the soundproofing is very good and with the windows closed the noise is not disturbing at all. The hotel is freshly renovated and the rooms are very clean. A huge advantage for us was that there is a cooler with drinking water on each floor, so no need to bring bottles from the store. Although the hotel had full occupancy there were no crowds of tourists and it was very peaceful.

United StatesVery few parking spots and not easy to find any in this district particularly in the evening on weekends.
Modern, clean, comfortable bedding, nice river view, walking distance to Old Town. Very friendly desk staff.

UkraineWe arrived at the hotel around 7 pm, even though check-in was from 3 pm, but our room was given to another person. However, the staff solved everything, apologized, and in half an hour everything was ready. We even got a discount for dinner in the restaurant.
We liked everything, especially the staff, very polite and friendly. Special thanks to the girl Dariia. Great breakfast, same as the restaurant, tasty portions.

CyprusThe only small downside was that the pillows were a bit too soft for my preference.
I stayed in a premium room with a beautiful view of the river, and it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated the free drinking water, which you can refill in carafes as much as you like – such a thoughtful touch. The hotel also offers a boat trip, which is reasonably priced and a very pleasant bonus to the stay. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would gladly return.

HungaryIf there is any complaint, maybe the location of our room was not the best - it was right above the terrace of the hotel restaurant and we could here the music. But not until too late, it always stopped around 10-11 pm.
The staff was super nice and friendly - special thanks and shout out to Daniel at the reception who gave us great and useful advice on where to go to kayaking and to get tickets for ferry to Hel. The location of the hotel is also perfect, immediately next to the vibrating city centre. We loved the hotel breakfast, wide variety of options, including fresh fruits and delicious cakes.

Perfect room, my request was approved for a quiet room with a bathtub so it was perfect for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and so varied. Great location, so close to the old town. We loved the stay.

United KingdomWe arrived at 12 noon and was told that our room was ready but that we needed to pay around £10 to get early access! I could understand paying a charge to keep room longer but not to access the room when it was ready and available - I could not see how the additional cost was incurred or justified. I thought this was poor customer relations. TV channels a bit limited, I think it would be worthwhile hotels subscribing to one of the major channels is Netflix or Prime which residents could access. The provision of tea/coffee and bonus but there was only dried milk as opposed to fresh but having a fridge allowed us to buy our own for use.
Location was excellent, right at the start of the old town. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace beside the river. Room good sizes, was very clean and maintained and cleaning staff very attentive. Little noise in room where we were placed.Breakfast was great, good choice of food, bit limited in space especially around 9am as noted in other reviews. The young man working the breakfast shift was always very helpful and responsive to requests for items. I liked the availability of water machine on our floor. Staff helpful when booking taxi run to airport. Would highly recommend hotel to others and would not hesitate in using if I returned.

IrelandCan get really crowded during breakfast around 8-9. The bathtub is put in a strange position, so can be hard to use for taller people. The room carpet motif is a big minus to the hotel design team - you'll understand when you see it
Good location, next to the river near Gdansk Old Town (5min walk) and different public transport options nearby (tram, bus or 10min walk to the train station). Very good breakfast with good selection of food for everyone. Room was clean and decently sized. Nice view

DenmarkI was disappointed with the premium room with river view as the windows are so high and not possible to see outside without standing on a chair 😅 we got no information from the reception about the hotel boat tour.
The location is great, close to the historic place as well as public transport. There is a terrace just next to the river where is a great place to relax while enjoying the views.

EstoniaWe spent two nights at Qubus Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location was excellent – within walking distance of the Old Town and many attractions. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in/check-out was smooth. The breakfast was rich and delicious, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, a great choice for a city break in Gdańsk

Czech RepublicIn the triple room, the third bed was just a fold-out chair, even though the reservation stated it was a bed. It was definitely not as comfortable as a normal bed. There was also nowhere to hang wet towels.
The location was amazing. It was a 5 minute walk to the center, 10 minutes by tram to the train station. The breakfast was also very good.

NorwayThe hotel offers parking, but you cannot reserve it beforehand, so it is gambling, We asked for parking, since we arrived very late and had a lot of stuff, but got a cold message that no spots available and I should find parking somewhere else. I would recommend to drive directly to Interparking Wyspa, just few 100 meters down the same street. Always available, 50 zl/day, garage, clean and nice.
Nice hotel, located very close to the old city. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is good, but somewhat chaotic. Too little space at the breakfast desk, too many people. Pet friendly
