Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandLoads of bugs and ditry. Our room had several things broken wardrobes, toilet seat, cupboards. We had a dust pan with no brush. Cleaner barely came and were given dirty looks when we asked for fresh towels.Rooms need an overhaul badly otherwise facilities are good but it’s cash only for food. Entertainment , staff and facilities were good. Tatoo parlour cafe shop on hotel grounds. Location is excellent and I would recommend here purely for the ideal location €4 taxi ride from both strips.

United KingdomNothing.
I have previously been to this hotel and enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the bubgalows that sleeps 8 people. We are a group of friends in our 40s. This bungalow is fantastic. It has 3 decent sized bedrooms, 2 of which are en suite. There is also another bathroom. There is a large communal living/ dining room/ kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, oven, washing machine, and microwave. The beds are comfortable, and maids come every other day. The air con is great. The bungalow is tucked away on the periphery of the grounds, so its nice and quiet. Its a short stroll from the pool which is brilliant. Very large and the staff allow balls and inflatables so kids were able to enjoy themselves as i have previously been places that do not allow this. As a group of males we had no issues with the stag and hen parties at weekend but something for families to consider. The hotel will take a €100 deposit off each person on arrival and return it on check out provided all is ok with the accommodation. Its a 20 min walk to the old town and the beach. Taxis are about 8 euros, but ubers are very cheap. We went to vilamoura for 2 evenings, and an Uber was less than €10 andd it was a 25-minute trip.

IrelandThe bungalow itself was very clean and cleaners did knock everyday but there was dead cock roaches along the corridor that were not cleaned up. Also the cleaners only provide toilet roll, towels and take rubbish they don't actually clean the room. I would also say this is quite a family hotel but some of the groups of stags were inappropriate and bad behaviour. But the staff did sort it in fairness.
The location is amazing. The facilities or having a shop, pool bar and a decent pool. The bungalow we stayed in was very spacious.

United KingdomThe reception area is BUSY all the time, check in was a nightmare, it took over 40 minutes. They have lots of large groups arriving and only two people available to assist. The hotel seems to cater for mainly hen & stag do's which wasn't an issue as they were all in good spirits and no trouble but the volume in the rooms was bordering on antisocial. When my neighbours were out, it was quiet with the exception of what seem to be a furniture moving tag team in the room above?! The pool had lots of sunbeds, some are free and some are not?! The bar area in the main building is tired. I travelled with a group of friends and their rooms were of a really low standard so I felt blessed to get the one I did as it definitely did not represent the norm, this hotel needs some major TLC. One friend even found she had additional guests staying with her (bed bugs under her pillow) which she quickly evicted and did not find any others. This is NOT a 4 star, is it even 3? I don't know? The photos on-line are extremely misleading with regards to the condition of the rooms sadly.
It was clear to see that my room had been upgraded to an extent and for that I was soooooooo thankful, the bed was big and the shower was actually brilliant. The room was clean and the lady who came to clean and exchange towels was lovely and helpful. The pool area was good enough and the pool bar was good too but ONLY accepts cash, however, there is a cash machine on site as well as many other amenities I have never seen elsewhere. I did not make use of any of them but there was a cafe, a tattoo parlour, a gift shop, a shop selling weed, a beauticians and a Spa supermarket which in fairness had everything you could want. My stay was fine but would I recommend this hotel? No. It's not a 4 star hotel, maybe back in it's heyday it was but it has been neglected somewhat which is a shame because it could be lovely if the owners wanted it to be. If you want somewhere cheap and cheerful with no frills then this is your spot but if you actually want 4 star, avoid this one!

Irelandhowever, more sunbeds are needed. People putting down towels early in the morning and not using them all day and staff not actioning this. Other sunbeds available but at a charge, the hotel should not be charging for sunbeds in this type of hotel. Rooms were very dated and in need of upgrading. Also some attention needed with basic cleaning the rooms were dusty and bedclothes looked very tired and worn. Furniture was dated and past its sell by date. This is avery noisy hotel, I had to complain on our first night as there was so much noise from an upstaris room, there is no soundproofing. Definitely not a four star.
The hotel is in a great location, the pool area of the hotel is great. Near to the old town and the strip. Some nice places to eat in the vicinity.

IrelandThe bungalow needs some work doing the floors were broken and uneven the doors were stiff to open and close. Bathrooms were clean but dated toilet seats broken and issues with hot water. The swimming pool was murky and the floor has an uneven matt on it
The location is great in the middle between the old town and the strip. The hotel reception is big and looks nice staff were friendly.

PortugalThey did no have a fitness center as they claim, is is just a space rented to a external gym company. It would have been nice for the hotel to have a agreement with the gym in a way that hotel clients could pay directly to the hotel to have access to the gym

IrelandThe bungalow was cold I was frozen at night there are heaters in the rooms The floors were broken and dirty definitely not suitable for toddlers The kitchenette was very handy but all the cups and cooking utensils hand to be cleaned before use they were dirty The hotel needs to do something about cars coming into the driveway they came in at such speed and there are a lot of children around the hotel one of the cars crashed into the roundabout at such a speed he burst his tire and damaged the bricks it’s not a very big space for them to even drive at those speeds road bumps would really help here The beds were very hard not comfortable at all can’t say I had a great sleep for the four nights
Great location the disco was brilliant for the kids but started a little late 20:30 could start a little earlier would be better at 19:30 The pool was nice and very convenient from the bungalow apartments and it had a nice bar Kitchenette in the bungalow was very handy Shop was handy on sight Very easy to get an Uber

United KingdomVery questionable maintenance standards. Cupboards on the verge of collapse, potentially unsafe for children. Shower leaked as seals to the shower heads had degraded. Floor in main lounge was coming apart. "Sofa Bed" whilst we didnt need to use, did not look fit for a comfortable sleep if required to be used.
Large grounds and complex, was in a suitable location. Villa was big and spacious. Pool is large, unheated and salt-water.

United KingdomAsk someone who goes there every single year and books out the bungalows i’m very disappointed that no maintenance has been done and every year that me and my family go we always find faults but this year it was too much the floorboards were broken. The fridge wasn’t working properly. The toilet seats were broken and to top it off. There was ants in the bathroom and in the room.
That it’s spacious and fits enough for family.
