Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenCan’t think of anything! Do take note that the apartments are up a few flights of stairs with no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us though, and you are able to leave strollers in the entry way if you are travelling with little ones.
Gorgeous, spacious apartment with close proximity to everything you need in the historic city centre. A lovely view from our balcony down the street to Porto Cathedral. Well equipped for us as a small family travelling with a baby. Super kind staff who were always easily reachable for help and recommendations. Lovely big sofa to lounge on! Crispy bed linen! A nice industrial fan to make the sweltering summer nights a bit more bearable! :)

AustraliaNothing!
Lovely apartment that is so cosy and comfortable - also so spacious! We stayed in apartment 1A. Very clean, styled beautifully and has all the amenities you need. Great location - 5 mins walk to the main strip along the river and very close to other attractions and food spots in Porto. We loved our stay here and will come back next time we’re in town - highly recommend.

United KingdomIt doesn’t have a lift, but they very kindly moved us to a lower apartment as we had a small baby with us. The customer service is brilliant.
Beautifully restored property, amazing decor, clean and spacious. The location is perfect and the communication with the hosts was amazing. We had such a special stay.

United StatesWhoever stayed before us left a glass carafe in the fridge and lowered the temperature enough to freeze the water and break the glass.
Everything! Perfect location, comfy bed, good water pressure, beautiful remodel, quality kitchenette… I could go on.

United StatesThis stay made all the difference during our trip in Porto. It was near the historic center. A good medium because it wasn't all the way by the riverfront but not at the top of porto where a lot of the tourist attraction is either. It is on a narrow one way room so spotting it out at first can be a little tricky. Our balcony had a clear view of the Cathedral on the west and we were about a block from the Palace of Bolsa. There is a mini shop across the street if you need some water or souvenirs. So many lovely shops and restaurants nearby. The host was very patient and communicative with me through whatsapp. Beautiful interior and nice location. If you're looking for complete noise canceling, you might not find that here but it didn't bother us too much and we had a toddler who slept through street parties.

AustraliaVery small things, but there is no tv. And there was no wine or breakfast. I think this may have been because we didn’t book directly. By the booking.com page says there’s wine, the website says breakfast. We got neither. We also never saw a concierge or the shop open in our whole stay which was strange.
The room is beautiful and the location is amazing.

United KingdomCentral location means it’s a very noisy area and due to the age of the building the windows do not block out much noise if your room faces the front. Porto has a lot of construction so I assume it is difficult to avoid if you choose a city centre location. Although in booking it mentioned potential construction noise opposite, there were in fact two large cranes looking into our apartment on the 4th floor which affected privacy. No integrated air con but a mobile unit provided proved necessary and helpful however having instructions in the apartment would have been useful to enable use on arrival as had to wait for a message response. The reception is only available on certain days and times.
Very central location. Modernised tastefully. Kitchenette equipped with necessary items required. Lovely views and in an area surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Handy door on the 3rd floor allowing access to the steps to enable great views of the city.

United KingdomWe had no strong negatives about the apartment, if I'm being picky the shower could have been a little more powerful.
Good location for exploring Porto, lot's of restaurants and sight seeing within a short walk from the apartment. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a beautiful building sympathetically restored. Our apartment was cool, comfortable and quite quiet as it was at the back of the building, the apartment had a very calming and restful vibe. The bed was extremely comfortable.

United StatesVery minor, but the base of the kitchen faucet is quite loose. It doesn't leak, but it could use some attention.
The staff was wonderfully kind and helpful. Apartment 1A was spacious, very clean, full of light, and well-equipped. The shutters cancelled out both noise and light when needed. We will highly recommend the B28 accommodations to others and will definitely return.

Most beautiful apartment in an old 17th(?) century building. Beautifully renovated and well located to Ribera district and all the sites. The apartment is huge and feels very relaxed. And for family is far more economical that hotel rooms. Kitchen is well appointed for everything you need for light breakfast before sightseeing.
