Bathroom window on zero floor didn't have curtain, potentially could be looked inside by just passing by. didn't bother us too much but was little strange.

We liked everything. Was just for one night in a working day, so there weren't many people staying there, we could as well be the only ones. Super calm, clean, great morning walk in the cork oak field accompanied with Rosinha, cutest dog ever.

It needs some renovations

The peace and calm, perfect to relax. Very beautiful environment and was a shame that the weather was not hot enough to dive in the pool, definitely will come back in the summer.

We waited for good 20-30 min at the office after arriving- even if the owner texted us and we shared our exact arrival time prior. The lady that showed us to our room insisted that we tell her at what time exactly we wanted to have breakfast the next day (when we said between 8:30-9:00, she insisted that we pick the EXACT time). But then there was nothing ready at 8:30. We waited until 9am for her to show up. It would be no problem at all, but why insist we pick the exact time and then not get it ready?

It a beautiful property in a very calm area. The room was huge and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower with was amazing. The pool was a perfect place to relax.

I booked a specific house and then learned it was a Booking thing. No-one there was aware that I had chosen THAT house. But when I mentioned it they changed everything to get me my dream experience! I was there for the privacy and the quiet. And then it was Saturday early morning… and the man with the lawn cutter showed up. Early! Marta did everything she could to keep him away from my house but the contract said he could only work Saturdays. After the poor woman chased him away for hours he came back to the area mid-afternoon. Much better but it still meant I had this “special” buzzing soundtrack for HOURS while trying to relax by the pool. No fault of hers. The woman was tireless in her efforts to protect my privacy and quiet. They just need to review their contracts.

Everything! It’s the most amazing and perfect place to stay if you want to connect with nature and relax. The breakfast is delicious, Rosinha is the cutest dog, and Marta was the best hostess! We felt very welcome, thank you!

A beautiful sanctuary for people whom would like to switch off from the city's noise. The staff and Filipa are very friendly and helpful. The estate is and the room was cozy, quiet and peacful. I can only recommend and we will definitely return for a longer stay!

Amazing place, remote location, fantastic scenery, very comfortable beds, rooms, facilities, breakfast was super delicious and it was a lot. Filipa and staff were incredible.

The access to the property isn’t the best. The room was really cold when we arrived (it was January though) but we asked for an extra blanket and it was promptly provided. Once we gave the AC a good 20/30 minutes the room was warm.

Beautiful location. There were no other guests when we stayed there which made it even better. There was a sweet little dog that followed us around and we 100% loved it. The breakfast was really nice and so was the staff.

Since the first time we arrived, it was all very strange. We called and I could hear the phone ringing and nobody would pick it up, or appear. There isn’t any sign identifying where we should go to, when we arrive. We looked for someone and knocked at some doors. Eventually someone appeared, a cleaning lady. The lady was really nice, directed us to our villa and delivered the keys to us. But it was obvious that she wasn’t comfortable with that task, since she didn’t shared the wifi password with us, or showed us the property, didn’t share the details about the breakfast hours. It was weird, but we were at our villa ready to celebrate my partner birthday. That’s where we were wrong. We were tired, we had rush to be there before 21h since no one would be available after that at the facilities. After we checked in we went to have dinner. After dinner we went to our villa to have a shower and rest. Well, no hot water. It was 00h30 and the water was freezing. We had to check the water heater that had an error showing and then we found out that the gas canister was empty. You could at least have checked that Casa das Cegonhas before you received your guests. Or leave a spare one to change. Besides that, there was no network, no cellphone service, only the beginning of a bad birthday. The next morning we asked for the staff to check the gas canister, which they did. And asked for the wifi password. We returned to our room to have the hot shower at last. There was a wifi signal repeater, that wasn’t working. Guess who had to set it to work? Us. The tv wasn’t working as well. The cable wasn’t connected to the box. We also fixed it. Our villa had a private pool, the machines weren’t working and the water was all dirty and full of bugs. I understand that we are in the middle of the nature and some bugs are normal. But, the water was filled with bugs. A lot of them. And decomposed leaves. That doesn’t happen from one day to another.

The space was very beautiful, really calm. Perfect if you want to enjoy nature. The dogs are really cute and friendly.
