We were made to feel really welcome and Miguel went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was very comfortable and the house was cleaned daily. The breakfast which was delivered to our house each morning was a lovely start to the day. There was equipment available to borrow and we made good use of the bikes (helmets also available)..

Everything was perfect.

The 200 years old property is an amazing place with all the modern facilities, very well decorated, spacious and clean. Around the main house, the gardens and the natural lake are perfect to relax and enjoy the quiet nature. Miguel and Ana are extraordinary hosts, paying attention to all details and making us feel at home. Breakfast is just delicious. We have really enjoyed our short stay at Cerro da Fontinha!

Miguel and Ana received us in their amazing place. We booked a few hours before arriving and everything was ready including an amazing breakfast served by them in person.

Nothing. The only thing to note is that you would need a car to get around. And although the host allows pets and is very welcoming to them, they must be leashed on the grounds of the premises.

Everything was totally wonderful - from the quaint farmhouse style accommodation, to the lovely environment outside, to the incredible breakfast every morning. I could not fault it. The host, and the staff were just the sweetest & most helpful people - they answered every single wish or want we had.

The team was very welcoming - it felt like you were coming to visit their home and the space had so many wonderful details. It was creative, clean and a great size for 3 adults and the dog (with plenty of room for more). We loved the stay and will definitely be back. The breakfast was brilliant! It was easy to access beaches in all directions and the staff gave us great insight as to where to go and what to do. It was fabulous.

the location was great and gave you a taste of authentic Portugal living. the accommodations while rustic in nature were great. Very clean, cute, quaint and comfortable!!! Breakfast was dropped off at the time we requested and we enjoyed it outside under a beam of sunlight . explored the grounds and chilled watching the butterflies dancing and listening to the birds’ choir.

We can not really think of any major thing.

We stayed here for a few times in a row now and everytime it feels more at home. There is a warm welcome everytime when we arrive. The host is very flexible to arrange things according to our wishes. The cottage has a nice feeling and is comfortable, attention was paid to details and atmosphere.

To be honest this was a bit of a surprise. It was our last stop before we headed to the airport after two weeks in Portugal so we hadn't given it a lot of attention. We were blown away by this beautiful, unique gem of a place and we would love to go back soon. The host and hostess were - rightly - proud and passionate about the wonderful environment that they have created and welcomed us with great warmth. I've stayed at some of the top hotels in the world but I would say that the breakfast that they served was on a par if not better than the ones I've had at those places
