Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdombreakfast was horrendous, cafe pink down the road has very nice coffee and cakes- shops in the area close very early as it’s the rural part of Porto so make sure to buy snacks or dinner before sundown getting an Uber or bolt is a bit difficult however hotel can arrange and taxi but it may be very expensive
the room was spacious and comfortable for two people, bathroom was clean and tidy, staff were helpful despite the language barrier they tried their best there’s a supermarket down the road called internarche Santander is 5 mins walk away make sure to take your own toiletries, hotel provides soap bars and a 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash (no moisturiser)

United KingdomHotel isn't ready yet. Rooms had lovely potential but need updating and maintenance. Hotel couldn't accept non-Portuguese credit or debit cards, so we couldn't even buy drinks or dinner, so we only stayed one night and cancelled the next nights stay. Also, the bed was like a board! Didn't see the spa facilities, so can't comment on that. Really nice staff though!
Staff were excellent. Friendly and wanted to help.

UkraineThe room is old. The pillows are bad quality. The bathroom is very old. Bottle with shower gel was empty. Free wifi didnt get to the room on 2 floor and even mobile internet worked only with 3G.
The place is very quite. The room was clean, the staff were helpful. We missed the breakfast, but got it anyway.

Portugalwonderful location, Great place to stay if you're looking for a couple of relaxing days. The rooms are very spacious and quiet. The bed is quite comfortable and the cleanliness of the room is up to expectations. The restaurant of the hotel has a great menu with local dishes prepared for you. The staff is very nice and always available to help. I have to highlight the spa, great pool and fantastic massages. Highly recommended!

PortugalI must admit I have been here a couple of times now, and wasn't hugely impressed. The spa piscina is very good and extremely well priced. Be aware the different Jacuzzis and various other jets are on a timer system but you soon get used to it. Today I went and it was the best visit I have had. The staff were all extremely helpful, kind and went over and above to accommodate my Fibromyalgia symptoms (considering its an invisible disease) the facilities are very clean, disability friendly and they have extremely good Covid measures in place to keep everyone safe. So to recap good price, excellent therapy pool. I will provide pictures soon. Thank you to all the staff on site today you all helped me more than you'll ever know 🙏😘💯

United Kingdomcheck in- big queue of group of about 30 folk ahead of me....and only one person on desk. Wi fi was really bad.
Thia is a proper old style thermas- which I like- the thermal pool is good for this kind of small town thermal bath, lots of jets and a really high suplhur content- but was overun with kids on first day , so noisy, and can get very busy. Turkish and Suana were out of order. Treatments are expensive- massage £40 plus had to pay for use of pool on top-£20 but the Vichy massage was very good indeed. The rooms are a bit stuffy and drab. Staff not often to be seen.... worth it if you are a thermas freak, like me-it; worth a day visit, but if you are after top notch spa and hotel, not for you.

United KingdomJust outside the doors of the hotel reception are some Roman ruins of the bathhouse found there. The same spring waters are now being used for the current health spa. The hotel is not as old as these springs, it just looks it. The lifts are slow and creaky, the steps to the basement (where the spa is) are crumbling under your feet. There is nowhere to iron any clothes. The staff do not know how to operate their own tills, or their espresso machine. Breakfast is a terrifying thing with croissants that may have once been served to the ancient romans and thinly sliced soft spam. Service from Uber or Bolt is non existent, expect a local taxi to cost about 30% more. On the bright side, the showers are great. This hotel is a cultural phenomenon - the staff were friendly - when you could find them - but they were the icing on a somewhat stale cake.
The rooms were clean. The staff tried.
