Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe came during the winter, so it was off-season but the grounds of the Nature Park could use a bit more maintenance. We've stayed at a number of these around the world and it was sad to see so many piles of weeds lying around. The Thermal Spa women's locker room was tidy, but none of the showers had soap and there wasn't customary things like hair dryers or extra towels. This might have been because we came during low season, but I thought it'd be good to manage expectations for anyone else planning to come during the winter. It's a lovely, peaceful place but could just use a little more TLC and polish to bring it back to it's former glory.
We stayed in a Treehouse which was very comfortable and relaxing, we especially loved waking up and sleeping seeing the trees above us. It felt like glamping (luxury camping). The room was small, but had everything we needed. The staff was incredibly kind and always helpful, and most people spoke at least two other languages (and of course Portuguese.) The food was delicious, very fresh and nice ingredients.

United KingdomThe descriptions of the rooms are not accurate on Booking.com We chose the room on booking.com based on the number of beds. There were more suitable rooms available that was kindly sorted out by the hotel as we checked in.

PortugalWe did not like that being at Pedras Salgadas none of the thermal springs were open, so we could not even taste the waters. The rooms were ok, but not too comfortable
The nature around the hotel is amazing but was expecting more activities around the hotel. We visited in autumn and the place was empty.

PortugalThe restaurant is nice but a bit overpriced for what it is.
Perfect location. The bungalows are isolated enough that you truly feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. They are also very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The wifi was super fast. It was great that our dog could come as well.

SpainPlenty of little mosquitoes (the ones that usually wander off near the fruit) that are annoying (but they don't bite) A couple of windows blinder were partially broken. That could be improved.
Location is splendid. Rooms equipment is excellent. Full kitchen, good materials, TV with cast service... Everything was perfect. Very clean.

PortugalWifi wasn't working properly. The bed felt a bit uncomfortable to my liking. I enjoyed the other apartment we were the last time more, instead of the Eco House. I didn't like the weather, but no one was to blame for this.
I loved the breakfast. The entire staff was incredibly kind, and thoughtful from the first day we arrived to the very last day. Loved the included SPA that helped us relax. Having a bike to go around the park is cool. The house had heated flooring in the bathroom, and it was a delight.

PortugalThe living room could be a bit more comfortable and needs detail: some pillows or a blanket on the sofa, a plant or some flowers... felt a bit bare.
The park is stunning and so is the architecture. Enjoyed the quiet, the spa, the walks in nature and the breakfast. Was surprised with how spacious the cabins are.

PortugalThe restaurant is a bit dated, it needs a refreshment, not in line with the houses and SPA. The prices are high in the restaurant and not a lot of options in the surroundings. When you pay the price you pay for the houses, you should not need to pay 6€ for the SPA (pool and sauna) in a 4*, it not makes sense, even more if it is not just one time per day, if you go 2 times in a day, you pay that value 2 times.
The park is very calm, in a remote place, so good to relax. The SPA is very good, the interior pool is great. The tree house is very nice.
