Nice, spacious rooms with extra high ceilings have plenty of room for our family of 4. Lovely welcome details like fresh squeezed juice and natas, as well as detailed maps and restaurants lists were nice touches.

It was pretty much perfect.

The location was ideal - right in the heart of where the action is in Coimbra. Walking distance to everything. The staff in the restaurant is excellent. A big shout out to Joel.

Had i known our room was in a basement without windows that we could open we would have booked another room. I feel this needs to be transparent when booking. While the room was spacious it felt like a basement and abit claustrophobic to be honest. No fresh air

We had a large suite for my family of 4. It was great! Very roomy. The breakfast had a lot of options. We had dinner there as well & it was delicious. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. While we didn’t sit up on the rooftop deck, we took a peek & it was nice! Excellent sunset view & a view of the University.

The breakfast could be improved. The bakeries were nice, but the selection of cheese and ham was limited, the fried eggs lacked flavor, and the tea was too weak.

A very nice hotel that truly deserves the label "boutique," perfectly located for exploring the main sights of Coimbraand if you're lucky, you get a room with wonderful views over the city and the river.

Lovely hotel in probably the best location in the city. Staff was super friendly even though we checked in late after booking only an hour earlier. They made sure we got dinner before the kitchen closed. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with lots of healthy and yummy options.

The location is excellent within steps of the university. The views from the rooftop of the river and the bridge are beautiful. The restaurant location with its garden is quite private and quiet.

A really beautiful and well thought out boutique hotel with every amenity for your stay. Very central location. Would recommend a Tuk Tuk tour with Monumental Tuk Tours to see the entire city and learn the history from a local.

Curtain pulley was broken, parking could be tricky but managed to find a parking spot in the street

Loved the bath towels, staff were very helpful and friendly, dinner in the garden was wonderful, breakfast was good, aircon was good, loved the design and decor of the public spaces, position excellent for visit to the university library

The breakfast/restaurant staff seemed to have zero training on food allergies (in this case, gluten/lactose). Best to triple check when ordering something. Breakfast selection could use a few additional items: dry-cured ham (presunto), hard cheese, bananas, almond milk.

Modern room with all needed amenities, and spotlessly clean. Comfy mattress (medium-hard). Very nice rooftop terrace with a great view over Coimbra. The hotel has its own restaurant with good dishes and beautiful setting (both interior and in the quiet, leafy courtyard). Hats off to the hotel's designer. Friendly, smiling and polite staff at reception and cleaning. Great location to explore the old town on foot. Overall, a very good experience, and how a modern 'boutique' hotel should feel like.

Beautiful hotel with clean, spacious and well designed rooms. The dining area, courtyard and rooftop terrace are lovely tranquil spots. The staff are all wonderful without exception and the included breakfast was a lovely start to the day.

We were only advised about road closures due to a festival a few hours before we arrived. If we were informed the day before, we could have planned our trip there better. In addition, this festival, which clearly happens every year, was so extremely loud, that we left the hotel at 2 am, as it was impossible to sleep even with double glazed windows closed and earplugs in our ears. They should have alerted us to this.

Breakfast options a bit limited, standard fare. Pre cooked hot meals are never very appealing in my view.

Great hotel and restaurant ( in an area with not many good choices this stands out) well located for the university and medieval old town. Modern interiors complement the old buildings. Staff are all friendly and excellent especially the charming and entertaining restaurant manager Joel.
