“Upon arrival we were given the keys to our rooms 101 & 102. The walls were covered in black mould, the child’s bed was a mattress on the floor (next to peeling wallpaper and mould). Staff quickly moved us to a family room but it wasn’t clean and had brown water bubbling up through the sink, so we checked out the very next day and found somewhere else to stay.”

The butler service was excellent with very thoughtful staff. We felt very pampered and well cared for when I was unwell. The spa staff were very skilled and the treatments were luxurious.”
“From the moment I stepped into the Hyatt Regency Hotel Bali, I felt comfortable with the warm welcome I received. Novia, the receptionist who checked me in, made me feel at home straight away. She then accompanied me to my room to show me how everything works. Afterwards, she gave me a tour around the grounds, explaining where to eat and where to find the different evening entertainment. She then left me with a written itinerary of all activities I reserved, the times, and where to find each venue.
The hotel is set in beautiful tropical gardens and is a short walk to the beach.
I dined in the main dining room for breakfast, where the food was great,and with staff offering excellent service. In the evenings, I dined at the Pizzario restaurant,offering jazz entertainment, and on the beach for the 'surf and turf' grilled dining experience, accompanied one night with Balinese dancing and the other night with fire dancing. Audience participation saw me persuaded to 'shaking it' along with a Balinese dancer!
My room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and with sunshine streaming in.
I also loved it that I could walk from the hotel to the local shops nearby. Obviously, all my evening meals were tied in with the entertainment on offer. The buffet meal on the beach was excellent, with a wide range of food to choose from. My waiter, Agung, offered helpful and attentive service.
I would also like to mention the help I received from another receptionist, Amelia, I think her name is, but unfortunately, I didn't write it down at the time. However, l would like to thank her for helping with checking me online for my flight back to Malaysia and for completing the form required for the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC).
Housekeeping was also great, and my room was kept in tip-top condition for the whole of my stay.
I can safely say that the staff made this great hotel exceptional.”
“Staff were amazing - lovely, friendly and very helpful. Always asking if you're ok or need anything. Room big and a very comfy bed. Slight drain smell when first walk in but kind of passes. Good air-conditioning. Tv wasn't free but not an issue or not missed, not in room much. Refillable drinking water stations. Lovely pool and sunloungers. Breakfast was nice enough, not a huge selection but something to choose from in each category. Asked what kind of egg you'd like cooked fresh. Was also able to have my fruit to takeaway in a box as I was short of time to leave for a day trip booked through the hotel reception. The back massage in the onsite spa was amazing and very relaxing!
Finally, Beautiful shower toiletries too, for someone who is sensitive to all the chemical store products and doesn't normally use hotel toiletries - theirs wasn't that for sure , it was lovely and natural including the mozzie spray! The oils too on reception and in the spa were absolutely gorgeous and divine! The water fountains from around the pool too were really peaceful when sat by the pool or on your balcony. It drowns out the noise from the busy busy road.”
