“We were stopping over on the way down through to France. Robert really went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible, making sure we had everything we needed, including restaurant recommendations for dinner, and some ground coffee for the morning. The property is right in the heart of the village, it's layout quirky but perfect for our group with a double sofa bed in the lounge, and a family room upstairs. We were able to park directly outside the front door making things a lot easier. The 7 am bells of the local church were the perfect wake up call and we enjoyed our coffee on the terrace before we set off on our onward journey.”
“Comfortable room, if a little small, with modern calm decor. Nice modern new shower room. Very quiet with no road noise. Shared dining room (although we were alone in the evening) where we could have our picnic and make a drink (no tea and coffee in the room but available in the dining room). V good location on the edge of the old town near the lovely little aquarium. We parked at the Biblioteque which was clean and secure and only 8.60€ for 24hrs and just 2 mins walk away. Easy to use the self check-in. Great to have no plastic or disposable items. Loved the smell of the toiletries!”
“Location quiet, warm welcome, clean accommodation with everything you need for relaxing stay. Hosts very friendly, helped us what was good in area. Nothing too much trouble .”
“Beautifully and loving renovated 17 century farm buildings set in 11 hectares of field woodland. So peaceful
Very traditional French furniture and farmhouse layout. Charming owner and family run business. Made us feel so welcome.
It's certainly a rural location. The younger members of our family enjoyed the freedom of the countryside and the wildlife proximity
If you enjoy getting away from the madding crowd then this is the place to stay.”
“Very cozy and spacious. Close to a bus stop to go into town or a 20 minute walk to the centre. Close to a supermarket with local products. Desk was good for working and kitchen had for the most part everything we needed to cook at home. In general the apartment was lovely.”
“The host was so lovely and welcoming. Her English was excellent, which was much appreciated as sadly our French is quite poor!!
The chalet was well equipped, with everything that you could need. It overlooked the pool and garden, which was beautiful and had lots of toys and activities for our children.
The beds were very comfy. Aircon was not needed but fans were available.
This was a perfect stopover for us, and we will definitely rebook in the future (hopefully for abit longer!).
Many thanks, merci beaucoup!”
