    “Elisabeth's continental breakfast was excellent. It was different each day and included her delicious homemade jams. We also loved the garden with a very nice swimming pool. Elisabeth speaks very good English and was really helpful with bike routes, restaurants etc. Her husband was also very helpful when my bike bottle holder fell off and he fixed it.”

    “The hosts were very friendly and charming and made us feel very welcome. The house and gardens are beautiful and we had an excellent breakfast in a lovely arbor. Cooling our feet in the cool water of the swimming pool felt heavenly after an 8 hour drive. And finally, we slept very well as it was so quiet and peaceful.”

    “Excellent stay! Within close proximity to Blois and the Loire Valley castles, the hotel is located in a quiet area. The yard is very nicely arranged and the pool was a great bonus. Big rooms with very comfortable beds - sole complaint was the lack of AC. The host was very nice and accommodating and the breakfast was amazing.”

    “The interior of the property is beautiful. Our bedroom was spacious, very clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. The room had 3 windows and was light filled We do not speak French and the owner does not speak English; however we managed to communicate using translation apps and other guests too! This has been a problem mentioned in other reviews but we didn’t mind and the owner was friendly towards us. Breakfast was good.”

    “A very special place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature and filled with history and art, collected by the family over various generations. Very hospitable owner. We slept really well, even though it was the hottest day in Europe, with so many trees and nature around it, we had a great temperature during the night and a very restful stop in our way back home.”
