The rooms look a little bit dated but they have a local charm which we liked.

The highlight of our stay here was the staff. - Everyone we interacted with were so nice and made us felt welcome from the moment we first arrived until we left. They really did their best to make our stay there as good as possible. - Breakfast and dinner were good. There was enough variety to choose from. Dinner options changed everyday so there was always something new to try - The Black Parrot Suites have an amazing pool area and terrace with wonderful sunset views. - Good size parking facility. We always found a place to park - Afternoon tea and cookies are a nice touch to the experience

Everything was perfect. We came here 20 years ago on honeymoon. At the time we got married on Mahe. Now we wanted to come back for our wedding anniversary with our 2 boys.The pier changed a lot; it's way more modern and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and Mahe is just stunning. It's great to have the ability to use snorkeling equipment, kayaks and paddle boards from the hotel. The breakfast and buffet in the evening are still delicious. The rooms were luxurious with shower and bathtub.

The most amazing staff! The check-in procedure with Harry was really pleasant, and he even made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The complimentary hike with Daniel was perfect! We learned so much, and his palm tree climbing demonstration was breathtaking :) And we also have to mention Aruna (hope the name is correct), an amazing guy from the restaurant - one of the most attentive waiters we’ve ever met. And also the ladies in the spa!

A bit isolated. The sea at this time of year is quite weedy.

Suite 3 in Black Parrot was excellent. The balcony and views were stunning to watch sunset. The service was excellent and afternoon coffee served free of charge was a nice touch.

The room cleaning could have been a little better. For example, it didn't seem like any surfaces were cleaned or wiped off during our 5-night stay. To be fair, it definitely wasn't terrible - but could be a little better too.

This was our second time at Coco de Mer, and we'll definitely be back next time we come to the Seychelles! Most of the staff were the friendliest people we met in all of Seychelles during our 3,5 week stay. They went above and beyond to help (especially Harry!!), and were always happy and smiling, polite and kind. They were so attentive to our 11 month old baby as well, and he loved all the attention! Our room was great, the premises were great. Unfortunately we had pretty terrible weather, and there were a LOT of seaweeds on the beach and in the ocean, however this is not exactly something the hotel can control - just our bad luck.

We loved everything, the welcome with fruit juice and fresh towel, the kindness of all the staff, the room that was very clean and comfortable, our terrace straight on the beach, the different buffets every evening. We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

Water was not included in half board dinner and was very expensive. Staff was a little bit too overenthusiastic and talkative for our taste (but friendly and very nice nonetheless)

Breakfast offered great variety. The beach was pretty, quiet and large (however slightly boring for snorkeling compared to other locations in the seychelles)

We loved the hospitality of staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable especially Ahmed who always came to us and asked if we needed anything and to give us good company. Also, the food was super delicious. The cleanliness, design of the hotel and the environment was superb! We already are missing our stay there upon return to home. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Incredible experience at Coco de Mer, it was absolutely worth the price. Staff is kind and always available to help with suggestions and reservations. The room was super clean, with a beautiful view and lot of space. The property also give access to the sea and provides a free taxi service to Anse Lazio. We spent 5 incredible days and we fully recommend it

Buffet dinner too expensive for the quality of the food. Hot dishes were sometimes cold could do much better. Local dishes and maybe some creole music too !

That we had to leave !

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel for my husband’s 60th birthday trip. The staff are all wonderful. We had a lovely bedroom suite with a beautiful view of the sea and palm trees so tranquil. The air con was excellent. The bathroom was so nice and spotlessly clean. We had a nice outside area with comfortable soda and chairs perfect for just relaxing. We booked bed & breakfast basis but when there we had the pleasure of meeting Ahmed on our first evening and he very kindly helped us with options on having half board which we took up and so pleased we did. The food was very good the choices every night were brilliant. We loved the food traditional creole food as well as Mediterranean, Asian so much choice. The facilities were great we used the little gym a few times. We did a day trip which Ahmed kindly arranged for us to visit La Digue a fantastic day trip loved every minute. We also did the nature trip which was arranged by the hotel with the wonderful guide Daniel he was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much on this hike. Thank you Daniel. The bar was great right next to the swimming pool the lunchtime menu was varied and good food. The staff were so lovely Joe was so helpful and equally Anura & Aden were so attentive to us. We had a fun time being in their company. Two wonderful waitresses Natasha & Collette were both so good. All the staff are a credit to this beautiful hotel. We had such a great holiday and hope to come back and visit you again one day. Thank you Dawn & Steve 🇸🇨

We visited on our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and we felt like they really went out of their way to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. We also loved the food at the hotel, particularly the breakfasts, and also the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits offered every afternoon which we thought was a lovely touch. The sunsets from the pontoon are also fantastic! At the time we visited (in early September) this part of the island was very windy and unfortunately it was not possible to use the hotel's beach or swim in the ocean, however I imagine this would be lovely at other times of year. I would also recommend hiring a car if possible, because there is not much within walking distance of the hotel - however many places are just an easy drive away. Thank you very much for a lovely stay!
