Wonderful staff, fair service for the money paid, quite location, amenities nearby - I had everything needed as a solo traveller. The staff even accommodated my wish to have a single not shared room when asked. Thank you for your service

Strangely the kitchen area is locked along with the reception area from 10am until 4pm so you can't access any food, drink or information.

The hostel was safe, clean, great staff member from Serbia and very helpful. There is a 24 hour petrol station 5 minutes away, similar to a McDonald's restaurant and also the huge Galeria shopping mall with it's very good foodcourt. Also buses into and back from the bus stops nearby. Otherwise about 25 minutes walk into the centre. Rooms plenty of space and good lockers. Shower's were good and toilet's plentiful.

About a 30 minute walk to town however you can cross the highway ( i know it's a bit risky but quiet spots happen ) and walk along river on cycling and walking path thst leads to the amazing nitra park with views of castle. The path goes all the way round to the great promenade mall . Great views of castle along the way.

Clean, comfortable, good kitchen and I had very nice view of castle .

The walls are paper thin so if your neighbour decides to call their mom you will hear every single word she tells him :)

It was not crowded and the staff was helpful and kind.

The owner didn't speak english at all eventhough it was written in the description. So communication was really bad. Also the location is really unconvenient if you are here for exploring Nitra.

The room was clean. It's a great option for a stay for one night.

The room had a hint of some initial smell to it, and there was no proper sitting area for work (no chair, no desk). But it was an all-in-all comfortable room.

The room was nicely warm and tidy, and the bathroom even had a separate toilet room inside. There was a common kitchen/dining area with plates and cutlery.

I booked accommodation at the Glycerin Hostel in Nitra for my sometimes picky son. His reaction pleasantly surprised me, and that is why I decided that I would also use this hostel in the future. The lady at the reception was very nice on the phone and my son himself said that it was pleasant to talk to her. According to my son, the hostel itself is great and compared to other hostels around the world, at a very good level and for those who decide to save some money on accommodation and want to sleep in an environment that is clean, pleasant, comfortable but also safe for a great price per night, my son highly recommends it. Thank you for your service, we wish you all the best and many good and loyal customers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

It's a bit out of town tucked away in an industrial estate but still quiet. Be aware you won't be able to check in or access the hostel before 4 pm.

It's quiet and clean. The lady who works there was super friendly and helpful. Close to a huge Tesco for food.

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of staying at Glycerin Hostel in Nitra and it was truly a great experience. The hostel is distinguished by its incredibly friendly and welcoming staff – especially the lovely lady at the reception, who takes wonderful care of the guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are also maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. A big plus is the fully equipped kitchen available to guests – perfect if you want to cook something yourself. The atmosphere throughout the hostel is warm and homely, and I felt genuinely welcome and relaxed. Another huge advantage: dogs are welcome! I stayed with my dogs and everything went smoothly – it’s a very pet-friendly place, which I truly appreciate. This is a place with a soul and amazing hospitality – I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly stay in Nitra!

When i laid in bed i felt itchy and it wasn´t comfortable. But we were there only for one night so i didn´t mind it as much. When i booked it breakfast was included but in reality they DO NOT make breakfast anymore.

I had traveled for over a day, hadn't slept for over 27 hours and i had to wait for 4 pm for the reception to start working and to get booked and finally get some shut eye. The ubytovna is located in the middle of nowhere, but luckily there is a big Tesco around 10 mins by foot. By 'shared bathroom' they mean entire floor is sharing one bathroom, not 2 rooms, 1 bathroom. There is 1 shower for the entire floor, and the sliding door has a bolt that doesnt work, and some sort of a tiny hook, that doesnt hook to anything, meaning you cant lock the sliding door, and the door is there just to shield you from prying eyes, all it takes is one deranged resident to slide the door and get in, and there were a bunch of them. I'm ex military and i showered with a bunch of dudes for lots of years so it really doesn't faze me, but i assume females don't think the same way i do, so i felt the need to mention this. I was so goddamn tired , like i said i hadn't slept for 27 hours, i took a shower, got some new clothes, and after 30 hours of no sleep i finally closed my eyes and fell asleep, just to get abruptly woken up by some Ukrainians yelling like animals and talking in the floor hall, basically in front of my tiny room. that yelling lasted 'till around midnight all while i was contemplating to leave the room and fold them all like origami, but thankfully they decided to act like human beings after midnight. After that my 'neighbours' were banging the walls, again some Ukrainians. Thankfully noise died out at around 1-2 AM, and i finally managed to sleep for whole 5 hours before i had to wake up and catch my ride and go home. I've paid 25 euros to sleep for 5 hours in a 3.5 m x 3.5 m room. Surprisingly the rooms are relatively clean, and they have scented thingies so you're not hit with 'ubytovna smell' as i like to call it. Oh yeah, LOCK YOUR DOORS!

i guess i've liked that there were some comfy chairs outside, so i could sit while waiting for 4 pm so i can finally get booked. And a guy making me a cup of coffee while i was checking out, other than that there aren't many things to like.
