Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was excellent. 5 mins from Khaosan Road, and other streets locally were good for evening entertainment if you don't want it so lively but still plenty going on. 10 mins walk to the river ferry stop that takes you to other good locations. Temples, Iconsiam shopping centre, Chinatown, etc. Swimming pool on the 5th floor. Rooms clean, fridge, free coffee and water, decent bathroom and shower.

I think the property needs a little bit of maintenance. It is excellent from the outside, but rooms need a little bit of a push to keep up with the rest of the building.
This is my third time to stay in Baan Chart, it’s my favourite hotel in the area around Khao San. I tried different hotels several times but I always like to go back to Baan Chart

Really can't think of much. Certainly there are cheaper options and they are also great, but Baan Chart worked well for a slightly flasher experience.
What a great place. Friendly, clean, and well located if this is the area for you.

Breakfast service was a little 'relaxed' and slow, but I think that was mainly our anxiety for getting the taxi to the airport in plenty of time. Food was lovely though :) x
We had no expectations of this hotel as it is VERY central and close to Khaosan Road so we were expecting it to be noisy and perhaps a little run down. Hotel was lovely, room was large and clean and the staff on reception were fantastic. We loved our stay here and being able to have a dip in the roof top pool was a bonus as it was such a hot day when we arrived!

The wifi setup is not very convenient. It keeps asking to redo the login every so often.

We have stayed here during Sogkran and it was a mistake. During 3 days every night you can’t go anywhere not getting wet and dirty, because all neighborhood is crowded and you physically can’t go through the crowd without being doused with water. Besides that, the hotel is good, great stuff. If you come here at different time (not on Sogkran), it will be great choice to stay while exploring Bangkok.

I didn‘t really like that the pool area was so small, more common space would be nice, also a chair inside the room would be nice as well.

Very nice except I think it was really loud, good thing I had my ear plugs. But the rooms are quite well decorated and clean. I really enjoyed the live music downstairs.

If you are sensitive to noise I recommend you don’t go there or you use ear plugs. I requested and they gave me a quiet room and it was not quiet (I’m a sensitive person). But overall it was good experience and I slept pretty well.
The location is perfect and the hotel is pretty (well decorated, the bedrooms are very cute). The personal is really friendly!

There is no early check-in available. The music in the restaurant can be quite loud.
The location is very convenient and in a tourist area. It is very clean and offers good facilities. The restaurant has reasonable prices and serves local specialties.

Small rooms and 2000 baht key deposit on arrival is slightly excessive.
Stayed for one night before we took the bus to our next stop, fine for a night probably wouldn’t stay longer.

The only bad thing was that there wasn’t a window for ventilation.
It was a really good hotel at the best location. Maybe it is more expensive than other hotels at thia area but it worth it. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely suggest it.
