The path between the villas is not asphalt but a rock path and most of the villas are without A/C in the living room

Best value for money, the place is very quiet in the middle of the jungle, the villas are amazing and hospitality of Lucas was wonderful, we had a problem with the A/C in one room and he sent a technician right away to fix it. It’s a great place for big family who are looking for a place that can fit everyone, highly recommended

This is a great place very tranquil . Area is superb in the jungle but not too far off the road . 5 mins on scooter to the pier which has great restaurants. 20 mins to great beaches. The host is very helpful.

Everything was great. I had a really comfy stay, slept really well on the bed. Bathroom was big and clean, staff was nice and responsive.

Clear, easy and fast communication. The place did exceed my expectation: decorated with beautiful details, peaceful environment. Daily cleanings. Remember to rent a scooter if you stay there for longer time to get around, as it is located in a more secluded area. Will definitely return if I stay again on Koh Phangan.

BEST STAY EVER! We enjoyed our stay so much, the nicest experience we’ve had in our whole 3 months travelling. Lucas the owner was so incredible, he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time, he was so generous answering all our questions and accommodated us last minute and even offered to drive us to the 7/11 (15 min walk away). The apartments themself were lovely, spacious and homely had a sofa and tv (netflix already logged in too!!) Also having a kitchen allowing us to cook our own meals was great. Would 100% recommend carpe diem residence

The location was in the middle of nowhere. Even by motorbike it's quite a ride to get somewhere. I enjoy riding the bike, so I didn't care too much. The last part of the road is a tiny - maybe 100 meters long - gravel way leading up to it. So the hotel quite literally is one of these much-cited "hidden gems". I've read in other reviews that there was a water problem, so I was not shocked, but it was really sandy / brown and smelled like old coins. Also, for me it was not an issue to bring my own water, but if this is a known issue, it would be a nice gesture to provide 2 small bottles when you arrive and maybe explain on a letter that it is nothing to worry about. Because it was very unusual.

Lucas, the host went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. What a great guy! Thanks again. The apartment was roomy with plenty of space, 2 ACs that kept cool, terrace and a shared pool in the heart of the small place. It was a bit tough to find the place the first time, but thankfully there is now a much-needed road sign there - with reflector, so you can also see it in the night! very nice. The bed was incredibly comfy. Maybe one of the most comfortable ones you can get in this pricing range. Also, there is a kitchen that offers basically everything you need to stay self-suficient.

2 things. None of which were of great issue. 1 the place was unsigned and off the main road. A what3words address on the website would give a precise location. 2 Drinking water needs to be supplied by guest. This needs to be clear at booking stage. The tap water in not drinkable.

Lucas was exceptional. The property is quite remote but he is on hand for help support where needed. Great communication.

We really enjoyed our private terrace and that the pool was only a few steps from our door. The location was nice and quiet, felt like we are in the middle of the jungle but wasn't too far from anything. Comfy beds, everyone slept really good. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

The poolside could be a bit better. Maybe change the beds as the cushions were dirty. And a sign on the side of the bitumen road would definitely be recommended because Google Maps won't get you there all the way.

Really nice place! We loved the location, away from all the busyness and partying. Although it wasn't completely clear to us where it was at first. Rooms are nice, bed was the most comfortable one we had on this vacation! Lucas is a very welcoming person and made sure everything was good for us. Would definitely stay again!

little bit out of the way if you don’t have scooters and taxis are quite expensive
